Didn’t take long, but MSNBC’S Schultz and Madcow are claiming the speech was racist, birther, code-speak.
Do you believe how good that was? Never thought he would do that. I mean, “exceptional ism”? “Constitution?” telling Putin to pound sand? Just wow.
Mitt Romney is a successful businessman who happens to be heterosexual, well educated, a non-drinker, a non-smoker, Caucasian man married to the same Caucasian woman for over 30 years. It's been said that Mitt Romney worships in his Church every week. He wears appropriate business clothes when necessary and he wears more casual clothes when the occasion calls for it. He speaks as an educated man and he shows dignity and grace.
Yet in the past thirty years our culture has changed greatly, perhaps more so than in previous generations. American culture also has been impacted by what used to be considered cultural negatives, into what some now view as acceptable "differences."
Television, radio, popular music, the internet, and the very language some people now use as common everyday speech have all changed and in my opinion have had a negative impact on our culture, including the perceptions of some when defining who is sincere and who is phoney, who and what is "gross and fake" and who and what is not "gross and fake."
Personally I see nothing phoney nor "gross and fake" in Mitt Romney, just a refreshing, sincere, honest, optimistic and positive good man who will fix our country. I pray that you will someday see the same, too.

It almost felt like 1980 all over again... the contrast between the empty chair (AKA obama) and Romney is striking. Some one said on here they feel like they have been in a foreign country the last 3 1/2 years... I agree it felt so good to see people freely waving the flag and not being ashamed to be American!

As I said before, like it or not, there is one team on the planet in 2012 who can bring a change. That team is Romney/Ryan. Period. I am encouraged by what I saw this evening and last night with Paul Ryan.
As Clint Eastwood said, “Well, do you feel Lucky. Well do ya, Punk.” Does the USA feel lucky? Can it endure another four years?
