Code Pink Protesters Just Interrupted Mitt Romney's Convention Speech

TAMPA, FLA. — A group of protesters from the women's rights group Code Pink interrupted Mitt Romney's speech at the Republican National Convention tonight.

That the protesters were able to obtain credentials to the convention — let alone one that enabled them to get so close to the stage — and that they were able to sneak in huge pink signs is actually a pretty incredible feat given the level of security at the Republican convention.

Guess it didn’t work out so well for them then, I watched the whole thing live and this is the first I am even hearing about this, so it interrupted nothing.

And not the first time Ron Paul advocates team up with Code Pink traitors...

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Kokesh

“On September 2, 2008, Kokesh spoke at Representative Ron Paul’s Rally for the Republic in St. Paul, Minnesota, where he stated, “While it is our responsibility now to resist tyranny civilly, while we still can, there may come a time when we will say to the powers that be, be it with your blood or ours we have come to water the tree of liberty … who will stand with me?”

On September 4, 2008, Kokesh interrupted Senator John McCain’s acceptance speech of the GOP nomination for President at the Republican National Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Holding a sign reading “McCain Votes Against Vets” on one side and “You can’t win an occupation” on the other,[22] Kokesh yelled, “Ask him why he votes against vets!” A member of the audience grabbed the sign and tore it in two. Kokesh was released shortly after being detained by local police.[23]

On May 28, 2011, Kokesh and other activists participated in a flash mob-silent dance at the Thomas Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C. in protest of a recent ruling against dancing in the monument; the activists were arrested by force.[24] A much larger protest the following Saturday, June 4, 2011, organized by Kokesh and Code Pink, involved about 200 protesters and 75 dancers.”

When the GOP changed the rules from under the feet of real Conservatives, they shouldn’t be surprised when they get a bit of blowback.

Protesters with a cause.

Last time I saw Benjamin was at the Marine Recruiting office in Berkley protesting Recruitments. Is she part of the 1% as she doesn't appear to hold down any type of employment, or does she get paid to protest?

On O'Reilly tonight, when they spoke of the balloons, he asked what the DNC might have floating down when Fluke spoke.

A little off center, but it made me think!

I suspect that Code Pink is like most other lefty groups -- all about fundraising.

They each have their list of marks who will tolerate a shake-down for "the cause" -- whatever it might be, in particular.

A close audit by a respected firm would probably reveal any number of "irregularities" and at least a dozen flat "illegalities".

We could do the very same thing to Obama, if we can get organized.

I hear there are still 18,000 or so free tickets left for Obama’s Styrofoam columns speech.

Hugo Chavez’s American “woman”. Takes a red to like another red.

This was definitely a security breach as well as a breach of good taste.

However, she is so small that you could smuggle her into a room in a pocketbook. Somewhere I have some photos of moi marching behind her at a protest with some signs she wouldn’t have appreciated seeing if she only had the sense to turn around.

Boy is she stupid!

So how come they're not out in front of Walter Reed protesting war like they did the whole 8 years under Pres. Bush? Apparently war is OK if you have a demoncrat in the WH. Bunch of disgusting harpies. I hope when Sandra Fluke speaks they dress up in their vagina dresses and line dance behind her.
