Managing Democrat Voting Units (DVU) is kind of like herding cats; they tend to stray off.

Wisconsin allows registration at the polls with minimal ID. After the election is over, the clerks send out postcards to check on the addresses of the new voters. Traditionally 1/3 come back as “undeliverable” (vacant lots, etc.)
Every major election sees the streets around the polls crowded with out of state cars. It’s a big scam, and nobody wants to talk about it.

My Dad told me, “Whenever there’s big money involved, someone’s going to find a way to cheat.” There are trillions of dollars in the public treasuries. The Democrats know that it’s easier, safer and more profitable to loot the public treasury than rob banks or grocery stores. The Democrats aren’t misguided idealogues, they’re just dirty little thieves. And they get cover from the old media who keep saying, “We didn’t kill those people or steal that money, it was those other Democrats who killed those people and stole that money! We just covered for them for a share of the loot.”

Democrats have feared for years that one of the particular challenges of running campaigns in 2012 would be simply locating their voters. The partys constituencies (young people, immigrants, minorities) tend to be among the most mobile demographic groups. And as NPR speculated this week in an analysis of battleground-state foreclosure figures, the housing crisis will likely only have made things more difficult for Democrats looking for their supporters. Obviously the title of the article is sarcastic, so I can't help but feeling a sense of Schadenfreude at the Democrats' problems in this regard.
Democrats in government at all levels tend to calculate, formulate and enact policy with their chances in the next election foremost in mind.
But in this instance, their housing and economic policies seem to have boomeranged on them, creating this situation where they are having big-time problems locating their voters. The law of unintended consequences!
You can bet that Milwaukee isn't the only big city where this is happening.

But won’t we all be surprised when 115% of them cast ballots?

Same-day registration is lunacy. Time to reform that.
