The question was whether or not there was a difference between Romney and Obama on this issue, and I simply fail to discern any such difference.

You are answering an entirely different issue which we were not debating.

As a soft word turneth away wrath, note that I could say much more but you know better.

Should you meet me on the street, I would hope you would pass on by without making a nuisance of yourself, like you are right now.

No, we’re not going to stop America’s abortion holocaust until we stop America’s abortion holocaust. Worry about morality and philosophy later, stop the killing first.

“I don’t claim to be the judge of morals or conservatism. It seems to me we presently have a choice between two men. One has proved himself to be highly incompetent, fiscally and morally corrupt. The other one has demonstrated that he has a history of fiscal competence and a debatable moral past.”

That’s the problem right there! It’s one false premise after another. Mitt Romney’s history of fiscal competence includes hiding tax increases with “fees,” shifting 50 percent of healthcare costs to the federal government, and advocating for every leftist pet project we are currently aware of.

On top of that, he is a moral degenerate. The proof is that he lies, constantly, on every issue of importance, and then he gets OFFENDED when you do not believe his lies, which he tells to hide his progressive record. See Brett Bair’s interview with Mittens, and how Brett described Romney after the interview.

“It appears that this country is quickly approaching the point of no return from a financial position. We are facing a national debt which will permanently cripple this nation.”

Yes, and both parties are committed to maintaining that national debt because the “fixes” are too harsh on their future chances of a political career. So, instead, they propose gimmicks and lies which, when observed closely, only establish the gimmicks and lies of past politicians. Meanwhile, you’re trying to convince us that your vote has significance and importance and that Mitt Romney really isn’t THAT progressive or THAT big of a liar, because, who knows, if we sell our souls maybe we’ll be OK.

Thus Spake Zarathustra:

Alas! There comes the time when man will no longer give birth to any star. Alas! There comes the time of the most despicable man, who can no longer despise himself.

Lo! I show you the Last Man.

“What is love? What is creation? What is longing? What is a star?” — so asks the Last Man, and blinks.

The earth has become small, and on it hops the Last Man, who makes everything small. His species is ineradicable as the flea; the Last Man lives longest.

“We have discovered happiness” — say the Last Men, and they blink.

They have left the regions where it is hard to live; for they need warmth. One still loves one’s neighbor and rubs against him; for one needs warmth.

Turning ill and being distrustful, they consider sinful: they walk warily. He is a fool who still stumbles over stones or men!

A little poison now and then: that makes for pleasant dreams. And much poison at the end for a pleasant death.

One still works, for work is a pastime. But one is careful lest the pastime should hurt one.

One no longer becomes poor or rich; both are too burdensome. Who still wants to rule? Who still wants to obey? Both are too burdensome.

No shepherd, and one herd! Everyone wants the same; everyone is the same: he who feels differently goes voluntarily into the madhouse.

“Formerly all the world was insane,” — say the subtlest of them, and they blink.

They are clever and know all that has happened: so there is no end to their derision. People still quarrel, but are soon reconciled — otherwise it upsets their stomachs.

They have their little pleasures for the day, and their little pleasures for the night, but they have a regard for health.

“We have discovered happiness,” — say the Last Men, and they blink.

Decent, fair-minded people have a multitude of opportunities to ask me questions directly. As for you, you’re just looking for an angle of attack. Interesting, with your screen name.

LOL...I agree. The way to stop abortion is to stop abortion.

And the only ones who will do that are principled statesmen who have an understanding of, and total commitment to, the core moral, constitutional principles of this free republic, and the most important obligations of their sacred oath of office.

Thanks SKINNY for falling for my bait! Now I can claim that I’ve had TWO Mittbots on this site threaten me with physical violence or make comments suggesting they would beat me if in close proximity to me because of my opinions. I was jealous that you had only made the threat to the other guy.

We’ll just have to agree to disagree and focus on where we do agree, which is eliminating or reducing as much as possible Abortion for convenience.

I’ve asked, twice I believe.

As for attacks, I believe you lead by far in this category.

You, and several others, have pursued this line of attack over the course of months. I answered these questions previously, but, predictably, you don’t pay attention to the answers and just charge forward as if I didn’t say a word.

So, I owe you nothing.

Let’s put the past behind us and act as if you’re really a sincere, honest, decent questioner.

What would you like to know, exactly?

Tom, I sent you a very nice and respectful freep-mail asking if you were a particular candidate. I had been so upset by what I percieved was horribly tyrannical actions by the GOP, that I was going to withhold my vote for Romney and give it to another, more deserving candidate. I thought, maybe you.

My freep-mail went unanswered. Are you uninterested in my vote?

If Romney can pull us back from abortion anytime for any reason to only those exceptions, then I will rejoice.

Are you aware that a "HEALTH" of the mother exception would mean that all a woman needs to do is get a prescription from a doctor at Planned Parenthood and she can get an abortion (paid for by your tax dollars) right up until the moment of birth?

So you will rejoice at that?

Are you just naive or are you a pro-abortion plant?

My apologies. I’m very busy right now, with a crushing load of correspondence every day. I saw your FReepmail but didn’t have the information in front of me that moment.

We are working on GA right now. There are a couple of hoops to jump through this coming week and then we should be qualified there.

I would be honored and grateful to receive your vote.

Exactly.

Medical procedures that are NECESSARY to save a woman's life are fine. Unfortunately there are some procedures that will likely result in the death of the fetus, but the PURPOSE of these procedures must never be to kill the baby.

The vague "health of the mother" exception is invoked daily to perform partial birth abortions and would also be used for other abortions. There is no reason to believe that such a law would save a single life.

"And then you can kill the baby" laws are always promoted by RINOs to preserve the status quo while pretending to be pro-life.

Sorry. That’s absolutist bunk. If the Mother makes the decision to have and keep the child (and there are many), I say you’re a wonderful human being. But, I refuse to force that decision.

Then I have to put you down as for killing babies.
