Rasmussen Swing State Poll (pretty good fro R/R)
Rasmussen Reports ^ | 9/4/2012 | Scott Rasmussen

Posted on 09/04/2012 9:04:08 AM PDT by LS

Today's Swing State poll has pretty good news across the board for Romney/Ryan: in CO (once a source of GOP concern) it's tied; in WI, Romney is up 1; in FL and IA, he's up 2; in OH, it's tied; in PA, Romney is down 4; in NH, Romney down 5; and in NV (the worst) Romney is down 5 with ZEro at 50%.

WI has been hanging tough, CO and IA moving up for Romney; FL a little tight, but I just don't believe that number---I think it's 4-5 points; and PA is winnable. NV concerns me, and what the hell has happened to New Hampshire?

Nevada has a large Mormon population so that may be driving some of his time there in the hopes he can get that state to turn for him.

LOL! you are right..NH has been invaded by the Massholes. Funny how they destroy one state and move to a good state and work on destroying that too.

PA passed voter ID and this will be the first election in which it is used.....long overdue.

We just passed a voter ID law so look for a different result at the polls and not what you see in the polls.

2 years ago Harry Reid had to work extremely hard to keep his Senate seat. The Dems probably still have a well oiled machine in NV as a result. There is a Mormon presence in NV but they probably don’t need to be wooed. They would vote for Reid in his race, but probably not for Obama in his.

THAT is outstanding info. Thanks. We need someone to convince Latinos that Life must First be Defended. Don’t know who, I thought it might be Rubio, but he blew it when he tried to come up with an amnesty program.

Id look for a Latino, ProLife, Military Vet.

The liberals that live in my travels have the Kuster signs up for display but only one has a Obama/Biden sign on their yard. I drive through Amherst, Merrimack and Nashua on a daily basis. There are not a lot of state workers in this area. Also, not any big colleges.

Also, I have only seen one Obama/Biden bumper sticker. That was on a brand new(the first I have ever seen) Chevy Volt.
I fiqured that guy was a flaming liberal to buy a Volt. FYI, he was a tall thin man in his early 60’s that looked fairly affluent based on the clothes he was wearing to the dump on a Saturday.

“New York transplants are the problem...”

I grew up in western NY. I escaped the bad Buffalo economy in 1985 after attending SUNY colleges.
However, you are correct they are a big part of the problem. Most are retirees.

I know a couple that moved to southwestern NH from Long Island. They bought a house twice the size as their former home for half the price. For them the property taxes were cheap. For most others though our property taxes are twice what they formerly paid. That is tough if you are on a fixed income. What they do not calculate is how much they save on income and sales tax. The liberals have been pushing for an income tax in NH since the 1980’s.

Also, Maryland, Pa, CT and RI folks keep moving here. We have a much lower unemployment rate(5%) than all of the surrounding states. RI is the worst. Therefore, these folks are moving to NH to get jobs.

In 1990 the NV Hispanic population was 10.3%; in 2000 it was 15.7%, and in 2010 it was 27.1%. CO will also turn purple and then blue for the same reason.

That't why the Left got so bent out of shape about AB1070 in Arizona - they though they were on their way to taking our state over, too, but even the modest language in the bill sent most of the illegals fleeing to California and set Democratic efforts back by a decade or more.

I should have specified that suburban NYC transplants are the problem...I have friends upstate, and they HATE being mistaken for the denizens of ‘the city’, which is the reason the entire state is in an economic malaise. I can use that word now that the DNC has ‘resurrected’ Jimmy Carter. :-)

Lots of Maggie Hassan suigns, as well; who I refer to as 'Kuster, Jr.' Both are vile human beings, as far as I am concerned...

People from north and west of Westchester county are a whole different type than city people. Even back in the 1970’s people from central or western NY wanted to be seperated from NYC.

Western NY is more like the mid west than the northeast.

However, Buffalo has been in a downward spiral since the 1960’s. Maybe even since McKinnley was shot at the Pan American Exposition. Ever since Teddy Roosevelt took the oath of office in Buffalo, it started going to the dogs. :)
