Savage: Dems rejection of God 'the turning point' Radio host tells of his own divine encounter that illuminates moment

The Democratic Party’s symbolic dismissal of God with the removal and forced return of His name to its platform by party officials amid boos from delegates could be the turning point in the 2012 presidential campaign said talk radio-host Michael Savage.
“This is a big moment,” Savage told his listeners after describing a remarkable divine encounter he experienced last night that has underscored for him the gravity of the moment.
“America is disgusted with this party of atheists and America haters,” he said.
At the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte today, the Associated Press noted Democratic officials were embarrassed by the reaction to the party’s removal from its platform yesterday of God’s name and of a declaration that Jerusalem is Israel’s capital.
When officials tried to reinsert the language today through amendments, Chairman Antonio Villaraigosa, the mayor of Los Angeles, had to call for a voice vote three times because the outcome was unclear. The motion required an affirmation of two-thirds to pass, but it sounded like the yeas and nays were equal. When he ruled that the amendments had been approved by acclamation, he was met with a chorus of boos from delegates.
The scene at the DNC today was a sharp contrast to Savage’s experience last night at a Jewish wedding held at a cold, foggy and windy Presidio on San Francisco Bay.
The site of the wedding was next to the graves of thousands of war dead.
Savage said that as he stood behind the area where the ceremony took place, he noticed a small, bronze plaque ..

I disagree. It might well be a significant turning point.
I could see atheists becoming very frustrated at the way they were treated at the convention during this vote, especially since their “No” vote was clearly sufficient to defeat the motion. The question is how do they register that frustration? I suspect one avenue many will take will be to simply not vote for the party that did this to them. Since they’re unlikely to vote for the GOP, they’ll probably stay home on election day.
Similarly, a thinking Christian Democrat, of which there are many, has to wonder what he is doing allying with a party that attracts most of the atheist voters and a large proportion of the nonreligious vote as well. Ads targeted at that group, utilizing yesterday’s “No” vote, and asking why they support the party that attracts so many atheists could swing many Christian Democrats toward the GOP at best, or toward staying home at least. For some, it might be the final straw that drives them to the GOP, if they are already gunowners, hunters, and fiscally-conservative union members who’ve always habitually voted Democrat because of their union ties.
It’s the unscripted moments like this that often have the greatest impact, because they’re so revealing of what is being consciously concealed.

The religion of the left is the worship of the State.
Whitaker Chambers discussed this in his book, The Witness. He said that God is anathema to communists because people who obey a higher power than the State are impossible to enslave. The Communist Party forbade communists to attend church.
We are all Catholic now. Obama has revealed his true identity and declared war not just on the Catholic Church but on God. How can a country who declares war on God, long exist?
DNC like most USAians reject YHWH in their lives. Saying one believes and doing another, tells true. USA has become a storefront land: big facades in front of dark crumbling buildings. Writing a party _platform_ containing swaths of words without the slightest intent to act upon.
If there are _any_ DNCians who believe Jerusalem is the capital of Israel or YHWH’s own city, why would they associate w/ DNC?
And in such contrast to the orgy of loathing and contempt that is the DNC.

The DNC pushed out the true God and instead, they want to be god themselves. I know looking at their stage, it has a religious look but it is very fake and counterfeit.
I remember the Rush Limbaugh TV show in the early 1990’s where he as a TV playing a video tape of a fire and he connected how it is fake like democrats.

I would vote for a combination of the two.
Perhaps the most repeated message in scripture is what happens to a people when they turn away from God - it isn’t pretty. The Dems essentially gave God the finger. There is a hard rain gonna fall.

Last I checked, only 2% of christians share their faith.
Also, Christians are up to their ears in porn, divorce, and other filth.
Maybe the Democrats are haters of God, since we are lousy Christians?

What makes you so sure those are Christians? "And in that day I shall say to them, I never knew ye." From the beginning one of Satan's favorite tactics has been to infiltrate the visible church and present a bad witness. Peter, Paul, John and Jude all warned us about this.
