Mark Levin: If Romney Becomes Another Bush Or Ford, He's Got To Go (video)
RealClearPolitics ^ | September 11, 2012 | RealClearPolitics

Mark Levin: We have to demand that candidates, who ask for our votes, hold fast to our principles and values, because those are never up for negotiation or to be treated as a political expedient.

We can fight like hell to defeat Obama and elect Romney and not sell out our core principles, and that's what we're forced to do and that's what we're going to do. Polls be damned; commentators be damned; analyses be damned. That's what each and every one of us have to be committed to.

So yes, I understand the anxiety, I have it too. But we must beat Obama. We must take the Senate. We must hold the House. And then the Grand Old Party has no excuses of any kind. If it winds up being another Bush administration, or Ford administration, or Nixon administration, they all have to go. I've been saying for the longest time the leaders of this party are weak and they need to go already.

Keep saying it; they still won’t go.

We are the ones who need to go.

Give it a rest, Levin. We don’t know who will be President yet.

Fill your airtime with something worthwhile.

Mark ALSO said we MUST DEFEAT OBAMA.

It’s getting pretty old around here- lots of Obama supporters.

For many years I've made an argument that the way to chose your party's candidates is very simple ~ imagine Congress is in session and half a dozen major national interest groups are having conferences or conventions there ~ and a low yield thermonuclear device goes off downtown!

Who would you pick to replace those people?

Remember, whatever it was they were doing they got nuked ~ undoubtedly due to their utter lack of concern for such a thing happening, so you don't want more of their kind, right?

So, who do you pick?

“So yes, I understand the anxiety, I have it too. But we must beat Obama.”

He’s right about BOTH issues.

There are NO Obama supporters here. Haven't been since we captured and disposed of all the Obama Truth Squad folks ~ most of that happened 4 years ago ~

You'll really need to get over this fear of Conservatives that you have ~ it will only get more uncomfortable AFTER the election no matter who wins.

The events of 9/11 aside, I felt a huge sense of betrayal when republicans took control of everything in 2001 and squandered it rather than getting to work replacing the tax code, reducing the reach and size of federal government, and reforming entitlements. Instead we got more government involvement in education, more environmental restrictions, and a more convoluted tax code. I have little real hope of a Romney administration not making the same mistake, but it has to be better than another Obama term.

Talk to Senator Jeffords ~ his behavior should have forever after discredited every RINO, but now we got one running for President.

At some point Republican leadership in the Senate needs to simply EXPEL a guy like that if he's the problem. Fake Republicans just gum up the works

George Will made the point this weekend. Said if in the face of a full blown depression the Republican party can manage to lose this election they should just leave politics.

There are a considerable number of agents provacateur posting here, sowing discontent and anger, all with the intent of weakening Romney’s support. Whether they are actually on the payroll of Il Douche, or acting out of some misguided sense of morality, the outcome is the same.

The re-election of Il Douche would be a catastrophe. It is an unacceptable outcome.

Unfortunately for Mark, Romney will appear to be a great President compared to the jOkeass he replaces.

hate to burst your bubble here, but if mcromney turns into a ford or bush, that will be as good as it gets... he is too far to the left of both of them as it is..

If that wasn’t an endorsement for a conservative third party to emerge, coming from George Will, then I’d be a monkey’s uncle.

I’d agree with you in so far as Romney is further left than either Ford or Bush. Hell he was as liberal as they come years ago and also a Democrat. It is rare to turn a liberal into a true blue conservative and we all know Rudy McRomneybee is not a conservative by any means.

You’re a monkey’s uncle. He said if they blow this election the blame belongs with the GOPe and they ought to step aside and let someone else run the party.
