As horrible news broke this morning about the death of Christopher Stevens, U.S. ambassador to Libya, at least four graphic photos purportedly showing his death during the savage embassy attack began circulating. The man in the photos appears to be the ambassador, but some reports indicate Stevens died in the hospital.

That is probably true for posts to London, Rome, and other civilized places. Places like this crap hole get “careerists” for ambassadors. Yes they may be leftists but they may not be actually Obomination supportors.

Get ready for this to happen more and more and more. Its what happens when savages get ahold of technology. It really comes back to a moral choice of the viewer. We know this is out there and we can choose to not look at it. Its like the old freak shows or like pornography. We know its there and its a choice whether to look at it.

The one advantage of these types of graphic displays is that it becomes harder and harder for the media to whitewash what these savages do.

However, this man has a family. They are just learning that he died at the same time as the rest of us and they are dealign with it. Pictures like this should not be published out of respect for his family. I’d hate to have graphic images of my death broadcast to my family and the whole community at a time when my family was trying to cope with my death.

appointed in May

Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens is a career member of the Senior Foreign Service. He arrived in Tripoli in May 2012 as U.S. Ambassador to Libya. Ambassador Stevens served twice previously in Libya. He was born and raised in northern California. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of California at Berkeley in 1982, a J.D. from the University of California’s Hastings College of Law in 1989, and an M.S. from the National War College in 2010. He speaks Arabic and French.

The first job of the Marine guards in the embassies is not to protect the personnel.
Then what is their first responsibility? And how do you know?

Those two photos could show them taking him from the wreckage and to the hospital. I would not be surprised at all if they were in fact abusing his body, but these photos don’t seem that to show that.

Maybe they do. The Drudge photo there is no blood on the ambassador but by the time of the later photos there is blood and what looks like a gash on his head.

I can not post the pictures as I do not know how.

Spend about five minutes on this FR Practice Thread about using HTML and you’ll have the photo posting down pat. Practice by posting a few pics on that thread and you’ll be fine.

We’re all adults here. Let the photos be seen so we understand the nature of our enemies, and the nature of the real world.

Here is something interesting

The list dated 8/28 for Key Personnel in Foreign Service Telephone Directory does not list an Ambassador to Israel.

Wonder why Dan Shapiro is not listed.

Yesterday’s incidents will now DECIDE THIS ELECTION one way or the other in my opinion, and Obama has around 24 hours to either SEAL HIS FATE or SAVE HIS PRESIDENCY.

IF he continues to vacillate and show weakness like he has with the veiled apology to Egypt and crap he is done and will lose by epic proportions — HOWEVER if his handlers sieze the opportunity and respond with overwhelming force it could actually propel him to victory despite the economy.

The sh!t stain in our oval office will do nothing except ACT like he cares. Another Letterman spot is coming up and our Dear Leader will just be a regular guy and make jokes about The Special Olympics. Meanwhile,Moooochelle is off with her entourage to buy another pair of five hundred dollar sneakers.

Agree wholeheartedly. His statement calling the Admin response ‘Disgraceful’ was a good start, but today he needs to come out with guns blazing and hammer Obama and all the apologists mercilessly.

I would also love to see a firm statement condemning the so called journalists that are calling for the film-makers to be arrested.

The reports are confusing. There was at least one report that the only guards were Libyans, no Marines.
