I disagree - In fact as of today, I believe it is almost certain that Obama will be reelected - probably by a significant margin.

Regardless of political leanings, most Americans are non political they aren’t policy wonks who pore over blogs of either the right or left. They catch snatches of information from the media and they vote how they are led to vote. They are being led to vote for the obviously inferior candidate.

I wish I was wrong but expect to have this narcissistic man-child in your face for another four years. This time around he will have no limiting factor on his power. He knows he can bypass Congress and the Constitution and the academics and media will praise not condemn the crime.

You’re right, the swing voters don’t vote on policy. They don’t understand policy. In the last 30 years, the most charismatic candidate has won every single time. Mondale, Dukakis, Gore and Kerry did not win the charm contest, but Clinton and Obama did. If Romney continues to come across as a stiff and a reserved, emotionless automaton, he’ll lose.

Let’s not lose hope or stay home in November.

I see a lot of local leftist freaks spinning as hard as they can against Romney or for Hussein, and a lot of others calling them out on the hatred.

But I realize if Big Media wins this for the arrogant POS Fraud, we’re done. Maybe enough others will, too.

Americans are not as stupid as they are made out to be far too many times on this site.

As much as it may seem astute or cute to see them as a bunch of welfare-loving drones that just want more of the same is to treat them no differently than the Democrats do.

Well, I dont. As we have seen in other elections where the “consensus” was that the left-wing Democrats were going to win because they “have all the cards”, that thinking is nothing more than badly-formed defeatism born of a annoying conservative trait of assuming because everyone isn’t shaking their fists 24/7, that they must love how things are.

It is what happened in Mass, Wisconsin, and in 2010. Too many people so sure of defeat just because it has to be, when the facts proved otherwise.

No one has more contempt for the American voter than I so it would be easy to agree with you.

However, I keep noticing that these polls have to be highly skewed in order to eck out a victory for The Disaster. Most actually show Romney is winning once you start unpack the actual findings.

Things are a lot more positive than you let on.
