The NBC and CBS morning shows on Thursday both pushed the theme that Mitt Romney made a gaffe with his handling of Libya. At the same time, they shielded Barack Obama. Good Morning America's Jake Tapper stood out in highlighting problems for the President. In the wake of the murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens, Tapper asserted that "many questions remain about insufficient security at those diplomatic posts on the anniversary of 9/11 and U.S. leadership in the region in the wake of the Arab Spring."
In contrast, CBS This Morning devoted a large chunk of its coverage to allowing Barack Obama to defend himself. The three minute and 41 segment featured the President talking for a massive two and a half minutes. How long did Romney get in the Norah O'Donnell segment? A mere ten seconds.
Edward R. Murrow. That communist bastard put an end to cleaning the Red threat from our system by “exposing” Tail Gunner Joe.
The only way we’re going to make headway against the media is to boycott the sponsors of ALL news programs. Name names and boycott!! It worked for Chic a Filet (in the opposite direction, of course). We can do this. There are enough of us out there.
For the first time since 2001, I tuned in to CNN this morning just in time to see John McCain being pounded by their newsreaders over and over again with “Do you think Romney was wrong?”, “Wasn’t that really over the top?” yada, yada, yada.

It will be decades (if ever) again before I tune in CNN.

I get the majority of my news from the Internet, and Fox News, but primarily from the Internet. I have zero trust in the media because I know that they are all in the tank for the Commie
My professional training is in journalism. I worked in the field for several years. I was laboring under the impression that being a reporter is an honorable profession.
Watch old black and white movies. Reporters are often portrayed as obnoxious slugs.
Far too many people enter journalism because they want "to make a difference" or to "bring about change." That's all find and dandy. The Village Voice, Rolling Stone, etc, is the place for them, not in the newsroom of your hometown newspaper. What happened to becoming a journalist because it is exciting and every day is different from the previous one?
In Communist Poland they would all decide to go take a walk at 6:30PM when the national nightly news came on.
Tens of thousands would be walking the streets, making it patently obvious that nobody was watching.
Perhaps its time to give that another whirl.

I’m all for free speech and freedom of the press but the MSM in this country needs to be brought to their knees and then kicked to the curb.
Conservatives need to buy and vote media stock! When enough economic pressure is felt in the boardroom changes will come to the Newsroom! Bank on it!
