Glad you posted this. I tell everybody I know or see near them in pet stores or at Costco NOT to buy the chicken treats for dogs. Damn Chinese use dead diseased chickens to make them and have slaughtered millions of probable sick chickens and have found a use for them for sale to unsuspecting U.S. dog owners.

I’ve discovered that my dogs love baby carrots as treats. The vet says they don’t digest them well but says it won’t hurt them.

Something got lost in translation...

...the Chicoms were to export tainted pet food to our supermarkets and we were to export the dead pets to their restaurants.

Business.

“....360 dogs, 1 cat, FDA says”

“.....even as claims of illnesses tied to the products have topped 2,200, federal veterinary health officials said.”

These are the reported statistics. Doesn’t include animals folks buried in the backyard ‘cause they couldn’t afford to take them to the Veterinarian so they could become part of the statistics.

The Chinese dominate the US markets in human antibiotic and pharma sales. Hate to see what happens when there are major recalls in those fields.

By the way, I remember reading a story of a couple who fed them to their dog. The dog died. The couple was so devastated they BOTH committed suicide. True story.

Apparently, other countries are better at producing these specialty treats. Just think of the ad potential - “So irresistible they’ll be the last snack your pet will ever beg for!”
Back in 2008, a bunch of nitwits in this country imported a president from Kenya, and it worked out just fine, hasn’t it?

Do not buy this for your pets. Give them all natural treats.

A friend of mine gets bones from a butcher and bakes the bones and dips them in beef or chicken broth. They love getting the marrow out of the bone, as well as chewing the leftover meat from the bone.

Beef hocks are another great treat, boiled then baked. Just enough meat and gristle to make doggie happy.

This pet death toll is approaching that of pets gratutiously shot by police.

Is good to mix in steamed broccoli, cauliflower and carrots into your dog’s food. Most dogs love it and is a great way to satisfy a dog’s hunger and they’ll lose weight too! You buy one of those bags for microwave, set to 5 minutes then put in container for frig. and will last a week if you use as add-in to regular dog food.

I make turkey cookies for the pooches. I spread ground turkey on a baking sheet with a little olive oil and bake it till its dry and cut it into squares.

There is this store in New York, upstate, called Guido’s, that sells these cheap ass Chinese chicken treats for dogs. Make sure you read the label!

There are a variety of companies that are made in the usa.

We lost really good Great Pyrenees goat dog a few years ago to that melamine that the ChiComs sold to the pet food companies as protein.

One reason I stay away from farm-raised shrimp. The other reason is that their texture is just too rubbery. I prefer to pay more and get the Gulf shrimp.

My brother was here for a few months and started feeding my dog those things and she loved them. I noticed that she was drinking lots and lots of water and asked him to quit and within days she was back to normal. I think he still feeds them to his dogs.
