That was quick… Less than an hour ago Drudge posted video of Barack Obama telling an audience in 1998 that he believes in redistribution of wealth. Mitt Romney was just on Your World with Cavuto and hammered the president over this shocking admission. “He wants redistribution of wealth. I disagree.”

Let me just close by saying as we think about the policy research uh surrounding the issues that I just named, uh policy research for the working poor properly defined, I think that what we're going to have to do is somehow resucsicate the notion that government action can be effective at all.There has been a systematic, uh, I don't think it's too strong to call it a propaganda campaign, uh against the possibility of government action and its efficacy. Uh, what that means then is that as we try to resuscitate this notion that uh we're all in this thing together -- leave nobody behind -- uh we do have to be innovative in thinking how...what are the delivery systems that are actually effective and meet people where they live, uh and my suggestion, I guess, would be that the trick -- and this is one of the few areas where I think there are technical issues that have to be dealt with as opposed to just political issues, I think the trick is figuring out how do we structure government systems that pool resources and, hence, facilitate some redistribution, because i actually believe in redistribution, uh at least at a certain level to make sure that...everybody's got a shot.
That's a really good point. A mortgage, 401k, & 2 car loans isn't "wealth" except in Obama's America, but it's still more than he thinks we deserve.

Absolutely right. I know too many who are gaming the system when there is nothing wrong with them. I despise them.
I also know many who, through no fault of their own, are not able to find a job and others, a job that pays a sustainable wage.
There are distinctions.
What if the number of those who really know is in the single digits, and they're either extremely loyal to the cause, or have the constant threat of families being killed to stay quiet?
Not giving credit to a liberal for logic, because they don't believe in it, but the best way to keep people from knowing something is to tell noone, or if there are multiple people involved in something, make sure they don't talk.

The most galling bit of Obama’s quote is that he talks like a socialist, but at the very end he tries to mask it with the “everybody should have a shot” line, as if redistribution will create a level playing field. Barry needs to read Animal Farm and understand that when people appoint themselves the arbiters of what is “fair”, they always make things extra “fair” in their own favor.

Well the latest household earnings plunge that happened solely under Obama says it is not everybody having a shot. Instead it is everyone sinking into poverty and misery. Mitt needs ot get that out there again and again.

I just heard the radio Fox News Break that “Romney is trying to make hay out of old comments” and that these comments are from “way back in 1998” and the tone was completely dripping with condescension. I could almost hear the eye-rolling. It made me sick.
Romney is going to have to keep pushing and hitting, and his attack dogs need to start biting a little with their bark. This media is not going to take this “abuse” for their messiah lying down! I expect the Mormon card to come out at the end of October, if things look dicey for the Marxist Muslim.

Here’s my 2 cents: Republicans and Democrats have been guilty of buying votes by promising FREE STUFF to potential voters according to the dictate of Karl Marx: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.” This has led to a Polarized America. This polarization has increased as the number of those with ability has decreased and the number of those with needs has increased.
I call it the Federal Welfare Entitlement Plantation, with its Capitol located on the banks of the DeNile River, locally called the Potomac River.
