[DEM] House candidate admits taking [STEALING] items from grocery store

The same day she officially became a candidate for House District 58, Tammy Theis was issued a citation on suspicion of shoplifting last week.

The Democrat admitted to the Sept. 6 incident, saying she mistakenly placed a handful of items in an empty box she had under her cart and forgot all about them when she went through the checkout line.

The Montrose resident said she was distracted at the time, trying to get boxes to help her father move into an assisted living center while doing her normal grocery shopping at the same time.

It’s only a matter of quantity between this bimbo and the rest of the dim-bulb-crats.

What a dirtbag! Beener is in charge of the House, why don’t they censure her? I bet she forgets to pay her taxes too.

The explanation (or excuse, whichever you prefer) is plausible; Mrs. JimRed and I almost did a walkout with an unpaid-for item on the bottom of the carriage last week. She spotted it before we became crooks.

If the items were a box of baking soda and some paper plates, I could understand it. If it was 6 bottles of Chevis Regal, I'd be suspicious.

God bless her and her baby killing little heart. I just never know how to take this sort of news. I could see where an honest person could actually do something like this by accident.

I did. Found out when I was loading groceries into my car. Immediately went back in, apologized, and paid for the items.

I agree. We must be slow to judge others and gather all the facts first, as by the same measure we judge others, we too will be judged.

I’ve walked out of the store without paying for things, due to talking to someone at the time. The clerk looked at me funny as I walked back into the store to pay for the items.

I don't know that I've ever done it, but I do know I've left paid for cases of water and bags of dog food on the bottom of my cart and drove out of the parking lot without a second thought. And to compounds matters, I sometimes haven't even noticed my oversight for days - like when the dog's food runs out!

I guess having worked in retail as a kid I’m just extra careful to make sure that anything in my cart or on my person gets rung-up at the checkout.

I walked out of Walmart with a carrot seed packet, found it in the cart, under a bag, so took it back to the customer service counter. Thankfully it didn’t set off the alarm, how embarrassing it would have been.
