Paul Ryan Booed By AARP Crowd For Promising To Repeal ‘Obamacare’

Republican vice presidential candidate Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI)was not well received at a gathering held by the American Association of Retired Peoples on Friday. After Ryan said the first step to strengthening Medicare is to repeal President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act, the crowd erupted into boos.

After promising to repeal “Obamacare,” the crowd jeered. “I had a feeling there would be mixed reactions,” said Ryan amid the chorus of booing.

“It weakens Medicare for today’s seniors and puts it at risk for the next generation,” said Ryan to more booing.

“You may not have heard this side of the story,” said Ryan, after detailing the Medicare funds stripped in order to fund the ACA. “The law turned Medicare into a piggybank for Obamacare.”

“You don’t have to take my word for it,” Ryan said. “Ask the chief actuary for the center for Medicare and Medicaid services.”

“They are an insurance scheme, looking for artificial sustenance from Federal sources.”

Obamacare wii eventually put private health insurers out of business, so how could that possibly be good for AARP?

AARP does not sell just health insurance. That is a short-term business model for them, as they expand into various life insurance schemes, or long-term nursing home insurance, or even into auto and home coverages.

And they don’t even directly underwrite these policies, they act as brokers for OTHER actual insurance companies. The name of the game is cash flow.

“THEY WON’T ALLOW YOU TO QUIT. No matter how many times you tell them to STOP mailing you stuff. They will never, ever remove your name. “

It has nothing to do with belonging, I have been trashing their crap for over 40 years and can’t stop their mailings!!!

The way to beat these organizations is to expose what they are and then starve them.

Do you remember the Kingfish character in the Amos and Andy radio series? Shifty, eyes darting left and right and up and down as he tries to sell his BS to anyone who will buy it. His face came to mind as I read your IDIOT card. Yep, we have a Kingfish/idiot in OUR White House.

Love your sign.

Speaking to AARP is like speaking to the NAA(L)CP or the SPLC or the ACLU. Why even do it?

You missed sportutegrl's post at #26 on this thread where your question is answered:

"I saw a clip on Fox. Ryan dares to speak to a hostile crowd. This is how you win converts. Jesus didn’t speak to the Saduccees and Pharisees, he went to the tax collectors and prostitutes. Preaching to the choir won’t win you any new votes."

AARP is an arm of the Communist Party USA, so no real surprise. Mostly school teachers and similar freeloaders.

The Saduccees and Pharisees were not his ‘choir.’ He said plainly that unless your righteousness EXCEEDED that of the Saduccees and Pharisees, you would not see the Kingdom of Heaven.

The muzzies had a grudge against that ambassador, because he was a homosexual. Obama knew that would happen, but still sent him over there to die. The ambassador was one of Obama’s fellow Alinskyites.
