The media is on its knees. It's the customary position of worship, and worship they do -- Barack Obama -- their chosen "one."
He is the man they told us would halt the rise of the oceans and heal the planet, the man who had game like Lebron, knew more than his advisers, was more brilliant than all brilliance, the smartest man to ever be president, the winner of a Nobel Prize and 2 Grammy awards, who was like Lincoln, then FDR, then JFK, then Reagan, the man who would make America loved and respected the world over, the man who would balance the budget and usher in a new era of racial tolerance -- no white America or black America, one America -- the man who would get us out of our cars and break our dependency on foreign oil, who would change the economy into a green energy powerhouse, the man who would solve all the ills of all the world, the man who would change everything. He was new, he was different. He was better than the common man; he was more than us; he was like a god.
Three and a half years later, the only thing Barack Obama has improved is his golf game. For the media, when their messiah is 0 for a zillion, what can they do? It's too late to quit. They are all in. They have to double down.
Mitt Romney makes a comment about how 47% of Americans are "dependent" on government handouts, and the media is outraged that he would tell the truth.
The rest of America is outraged that the figure is 47%.

When Romney tells the truth the media says he is wrong.
When Obama lies the media says he is telling the truth.
So from now on, if we are told Obama is telling the truth we know he is telling us a lie. When someone lies as much as Obama and his Democrat Media, we can never trust them again.

In that 47% they count as receiving government assistance are people who get the “earned income tax credit” which is easy to get for any young couple. My children are in that 47%.
I have 5 adult children, their spouses and mates and out of 10 all are voting Romney. They understand their civic duty as voters and that you do not ever vote just your wallet. That 47% is a BS number because it hides all the details of it’s existence.

No, no. But the assumption that the entire 47% will vote for Obama is a total lie. Romney did not write off 47% he just exposed the number who recieve a form of assistance. when a major donor asked a question.
Hell I remember a conversation with my accountant in 2001 when all 5 kids were still at home and were in year 4 of self employment. When he told us we were going to receive a refund I said “But Joe we didn’t pay a dime in tax”. He then told me about the EIC.

I'll bet at least one out of four of the 47% wish they weren't there; the actual number is probably a good deal higher.
And nobody among the 53% wishes they were on the dole, I'm quite sure.
There's a hard-core fraction, somewhere between 25% and 30%, that want to live under communism. Or perhaps it would be more accurate to say they want everybody else to live under communism. That won't change anytime soon.

Obama and the Lame Stream Media elevate Newspeak to a level even Orwell would be hard pressed to understand. Truth is a lie a lie is truth. When a person speaks the truth(Romney) he is a lair. He is double- plus ungood. When the lair speaks(Obama) he is telling the truth. He is double-plus good.Obama has never lied and has always told the truth. Romney has always lied and has never told the truth.
The Democrat newsrooms have no particular love for the simpleton Ubama. They love only themselves. Think about what these people are: They are selfish sociopaths who see absolutely no problem with walking into the polling place on election day and voting for big government to confiscate more money - - from their NEIGHBORS. Normal people would consider this kind of behavior as boorish and rude.
No, what the Democrat newsrooms want is to flex their muscles and show the world - - and themselves - - that they still have the power to fix elections; that they are still relevant.
The reason all the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms hate Fox News, along with talk radio and an unfettered internet, is because these elements of the "new media" have cost them their monopoly, their previously unchallenged ability to control the selection, dissemination, and spin of the daily news for the benefit of their party. For example, they can no longer present a forged National Guard memo as genuine and try to use it to smear a sitting Republican President.
The ability to wield influence over elections, and therefore over the very direction of this nation, is a powerful aphrodisiac indeed. The Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms cannot and will not watch that power continue to dissipate without a fight. This is why they will lie, spin, and debase themselves to get Ubama re-elected. They need to prove that they can. They need to prove they still wield power. Be assured, it has nothing to do with Ubama. He is merely the king on their chessboard, and for that role, any rat would suffice. It has everything to do with the individual egos of the mice who run and populate the Democrat "mainstream" newsrooms.
The author is wrong - - the Democrat newsrooms don't "worship" Ubama. They worship only themselves. (In fact, I suspect many of the newsroom mice actually loathe Ubama for being such an eye-rolling flop, and making their selfish mission that much harder.)
On a side note, the desperation of the Democrat newsrooms has made them increasingly sloppy. Most of them no longer bother to feign "objectivity" (and for this I actually congratulate them - - why continue that silly game?). These days, most thinking Americans know who the Democrat newsrooms are, and know who the Republican newsrooms are. That's progress.
Words truly escape me at times.
