I’m curious as to what other papers,notebooks and files that were just left behind.
Seeing as CNN never met a terrorist or murdering dictator that they didn't like, they probably bought the journal from one of the terrorists who attacked the consulate that night.

Does CNN also have the missing files with lists of names and oil contracts?
How did the State dept determine that files were missing within the first day or two (it was reported)and yet CNN gets this journal four days later?

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Thursday she has “absolutely no information or reason to believe there is any basis” to suggest that U.S. Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens believed he was on an al Qaeda hit list.
The remark came after a source familiar with Stevens’ thinking told CNN that in the months leading up to his death, Stevens worried about constant security threats in Benghazi and mentioned that his name was on an al Qaeda hit list.
Stevens spoke about a rise in Islamic extremism and al Qaeda’s growing presence in Libya, the source said.
The White House, for the first time Thursday, declared the attack that killed Stevens and three other people a terrorist attack.
They found the personal journal on the first floor of the burned out building four days after the attack and it was readable...really? Ummmmmm.

Anderson Cooper is like Zelig. Everywhere, having a bit part in every disgusting big world event. I for one find him creepy. Does Cooper or someone else at benefit from CNN snatching or buying the gay ambassador’s diary to make sure there wasn’t anything in it embarrassing to the deceased and/or someone at CNN or someone in the Obama administration?

In fact- SO un-secured that a news organization (and God only knows who ELSE) could be wandering around digging through Steven’s stuff?????

What ELSE did CNN find, if anything and what did they do with it?
How can this HAPPEN? Not just the attack but the truly surreal aftermath, having to go to foreign news sources to get ANY sense of what happened?

Romney needs to hit on this HARD. Holder announced he had opened an FBI investigation into the murder of Ambassador Stevens on September 13th. CNN is claiming to have found it at the crime scene two days after that (unlikely story). What is very clear though, is that CNN was on the phone with a representative from the State Department and a member of the Stevens family (or one of their representatives), and they were REQUESTING that CNN not divulge the contents of the journal. HELLOOOO?! if you are seriously invesstigating this, it should have been a Justive Department official on the phone with a court-ordered gag-order on CNN and some serious threats if they did not turn over the illegally obtained evidence IMMEDIATELY.
CNN is a joke, it's left wing leanings and bias has killed the network and I'm sure everyone noticed how obama went to Vegas after the attacks and the media virtually ignored it.

I happened to be flipping thru channels and came across this report on CNN Friday. It was very interesting - the details of how things went down the night of the attack. (or at least as CNN reported it)
At the end, when Cooper made the statement about CNN using the diary, I was stunned. I remember thinking that the family was not going to be happy & CNN could probably expect a lawsuit.
