Pay the real refs. I can’t watch the NFL anymore. They are killing this game.

Every game in the NFL has always been “fixed” by the league office. This year it is just more blatant!

Actually there were 2 horrible calls during the last drive.
There was an offensive interference call that was called defensive interference.

Replacement Refs need to go back to selling shoes at Footlocker.

Not to diminish this bad call but like you said, there were many bad calls and they went both ways. In all these stories it’s about a single call and usually the last one of the game. That is then defined as the “deciding factor”? Not true. They are all deciding factors in close hard fought games and must all be weighed when judging the outcome.

I can’t believe these guys can be this bad without effort. I think they are stinking up the stadiums to help the striking refs, and to make sure they are not blackballed from moving up. Missing the play the first time can be understood, but to uphold it after review is ridiculous.

GB clearly robbed! No question. But watching GB leave the field in a pout, reduced them, in my estimation to a bunch of winey bitches. They blew their opportunity to show class, dignity and character. I’m still a huge fan of GB, but it will be awhile before they earn my respect back. The officials are swimming in very deep water. But they are out of their league, paid much less, love the game, but don’t have the depth of experience. The true culprits are unions v. owners. Greed v. Greed

Obviously many do not know the NFL rules. When a ball is in possession of both offense and defense players, the offense gets the call. So it was the correct call.

All pass interference calls are subjective and the referee rules, not the fans.

Was rooting for Seattle. I like that Wilson kid. Wish my team (Bills) would have drafted him. With that said, that was and INT folks - by the nfl rule.

What’s more: Was at the Bills-Browns game this weekend. Both Browns and Bills fans I was sitting near were all in agreement about the bad officiating, and the delays from officials not being able to move the game along, and way too many flags.

Then we I got home, I saw the Patriots-Ravens. Of course I’m rooting against the Pats. But there were just as awful officiating there as well.

Goodell: Clocks ticking. Wanna have a pissing match with the officials, do it off season. Meanwhile, American football is losing it’s credibility. You wanna keep supporting these refs? The NFL now stands for ‘Not For Long’.

Wrong. Only when initial possession is simultaneous. Defense clearly had possession first. This means that the offense attempting a grab once on the ground is of no consequence. Clearly an interception.

It wasnt just that play..it was the pass int’ in the prior downs that was clearly offensive pass int’!

THE GD Refs threw the game for Seattle.

If GB loses a playoff spot because of this game, the NFL owes them the revenue for it.

I would sue the holy hell out of the NFL because of it.

I agree and pass interference is NEVER called on a jump ball Hail Mary in the end zone!

Russell Wilson looks just like C. Thomas Howell’s character in Soul Man. (1980s movie reference)

Obama is the substitute NFL ref of Presidents.

I agree - the pass interference that kept the drive alive was even worse, and it was made by same official, who looks about 90 years old, who signaled touch down on the last play. The whole crew was bad ,but he was singularly awful.

Replay did not confirm possession itself. By rule it cannot. It merely confirms the ball was caught in bounds and not hit the ground.

There is no way they should have been able to allow that call to stand. It is my understanding that ALL touchdown’s in the NFL were subject to review. No call should have been made until all discussions with the two officials were finalized and then a video review of the play. I will check the “betting line” tomorrow to see how that outcome affected a bet made on both Green Bay and Seattle.

you are deluded. The ball was clearly possessed by the defense long enough to end the game. Golden Tate only had an arm in there.
