If you are a Republican living in Chicago...make a big difference

...One woman — a mom from the suburbs of Chicago — took it upon herself to mount a crusade against voter fraud here in Illinois and she is close to shutting down at least two major avenues of fraud that Democrats have relied on for DECADES in Chicagoland......

Her name is Sharon Meroni and she needs your help today.

It’s down to the wire and Sharon still needs 500 Republican election judges in Cook County…and she needs them by this coming Thursday. If she doesn’t find 500 more judges, then Democrats will get to fill those positions…just like they have in previous elections.....

Here is what Sharon needs:

* 500 people who live in Cook County who voted Republican in the past (which means they are registered as Republicans in Illinois, because party registration is determined by which ballot you pull in the primaries)

* Get the word out that these 500 people need to go to www.ElectionJudges.us to apply to be election judges in Cook County

* Election judging requires being on site at a polling place for the entirety of November 6th, 2012. This might mean taking a sick day to do this…but you will be compensated $170/day for doing this.

* People who have questions about whether they would qualify need to call: 312-242-1818

I don't know if this was posted here already, I searched Chicago and didn't find it. I saw something about it the other day, saw it on Ace of Spades just know and followed the links back to HillBuzz a blog that gets some respect here.

I wish I lived in Chi-town and could do this, but if anyone here can, please do so.

Through the magic of the internet we will keep the tea party strong and the dems on the run.

And isn't that what it's all about?

I’m still here... and I signed last week to be an election judge in Crook County. Don’t know where I’ll be assigned yet.

Illinois isn’t a lost cause. I live in Mundelein, which is about 40 miles northwest of Chicago, and I think that IL is a swing state. In 2010, IL elected a new republican U.S. senator, treasurer, and comptroller, to replace retiring Democrats. In IL, Republicans got four more seats in the U.S. House. Republicans gained seats in the state senate and state house.

This is a **FANTASTIC** idea.

Go read the book “Boss” if you want to see how the original Mayor Daley manipulated votes. Having a Republican election judge in a precinct can be the difference between outright fraud and people being afraid to pull crap because there’s an angry tea party people nearby who will scream if illegal voting is allowed.

Maybe it’s true that Illinois is a lost cause. Fine. Then document the fraud and use it to show how the Democrats steal votes — it may help in other races down the road, and if you’re really lucky, you might just get a Democrat in lots of trouble for fraud.

I’ve seen shenanigans firsthand. I’ve stopped some of them personally. (Too bad that it turned out to be **REPUBLICAN** false voter registrations, but that’s a different story — stuff happens on both sides of the aisle, unfortunately.)

We have checks and balances in place to prevent problems with the election process. If Republicans don’t show up to use those checks and balances, we have only ourselves to blame when Democrats do bad things.

“Illinois isn’t a lost cause. I live in Mundelein, which is about 40 miles northwest of Chicago, and I think that IL is a swing state.”

I live in Dupage County. It is relatively conservative (compared to Cook County, it is downright right-wing!), but I’ve noticed more and more Cook County denizens flocking out here, and I’m not talking about folks who have had it with the corruption that is Cook County and wish to escape it; I’m talking about Section 8 residents who are moving from Cook County into foreclosed homes in Dupage County that have been taken over and turned into Section 8 rentals. These are Obama supporters, lock, stock and barrel.

The only hope for Illinois is for it to be divided into two separate states, with North Illinois (north of I-80) and South Illinois (south of I-80); because the folks south of I-80 have virtually no voice, as Chicago so totally dominates the state as it now is.

I lived on the Gold Coast for the last election and my place of voting had 3 DEMOCRATS and 1 Republican Judge.
