Thanks.

Now, he’s trying to convince the voters that he cares about the 47% he said he couldn’t do anything about so he says his heart hurts for people and says that in different words over and over trying to convince the voters.

This is a poor attempt at strategerizing. Romney cannot out-emotionalize Obama. Trying to beat the Democrats at their own game is unwise, especially for someone as lacking in apparent sincerity as Romney.

What he needs to do is explain what Republican ideology and ideas are and why they're better than the Democrats'. He needs to get into the kind of lengthy explanations Clinton did at the DNC. I haven't heard the Romney campaign talk AT ALL about the differences between Republicans and Democrats. How in the heck is he going to help Congress members get elected if he doesn't make an argument for the party as a whole? This constant "I'll do the job better than Obama" drumbeat is falling on deaf ears and even if it succeeded, it does nothing to help Republican Congress members.

Looks like he may be getting his mojo here.

This is EXCELLENT. Also agree with NRO today that his line of attack on Obama saying he is leading us to bigger government and that is not the right way is better than simply blaming him for the economy.

The former really sets the stage for a decision on the role of government and how best to help the economy while returning to American values. The latter sets the stage for some to still be sympathetic to Obama that “at least he tried” and “hey it was Bush’s fault.”

Even polls that are tied show many blame Bush more for the economy, so I think the new discussion today.....which I hope he keeps through the rest of the campaign.....on how we best govern as America is the best approach because it exposes Obama’s ideology and how he has hampered progress.

Romney could slam him on the oil pipeline, not approving refineries etc.

Your post is excellent. “I’ll do it better than Obama” just doesn’t mean anything if one doesn’t know what it is Romney will do to be better than Hussein.

You are very welcome...

Please do not get discouraged... Obama and his media are now left with the strategy of demoralizing us via very biased poll that have no connection to the reality of the electorate in order to suppress our vote by telling us all is lost... It is far, far, far, from over...

Let us stick together, we are more energized to defeat Obama than the other side is energized to support him, so let us all show up on November 6 2012 to make this a reality...

This is the Reagan margin of victory I have been predicting.

This makes sense.

I don’t care what they say, you can’t do as miserable a job of leading this nation as Obama has done, and get re-elected.

Ask Mr. Peanut from Georgia.

Right. Think muhammad ali. Rope a dope. Obama’s objective is to talk and talk, not answer any questions and not make any mistakes. Romney’s objective as the challenger is to knock out obama. Unfortunately romney does not have a good track record of dramatic knockouts in debates. It will be a bore fest with no one wanting to make a mistake. The media will gang up on romney hoping for a gaffe.

The only way romney wins is to carpet bomb obama, throw obama off his game (unlikely) and make press exposing obama as the terrorist loving socialist scumbag that he is. But that will never happen. The media will call it for obama no matter what

I saw this before. I am beyond child-bearing age, and my children are happy with what they have. I will, however, send this to everyone I know in the hope that it will be forwarded and forwarded and FORWARDED!

Thanks for the wake-up!

I drive all around Columbus and there are no Obama signs like before. Even people that bragged about voting for him in 08 are voting Romney. DON’T BELIEVE WHAT YOU HEAR FROM ANY MEDIA.

“I drive all around Columbus and there are no Obama signs like before.”

There aren’t many in Newark, NJ either (which is like NJ’s Zimbabwe). Blacks were already hurting (like everyone else), and the whole “gay marriage” thing has probably given a lot of them an “out” when it comes to “volunteering” for Obama. They can point to some black pastor’s rant against him as a reason why they won’t be “getting out the vote” this time around.

I doubt they’ll vote for Romney (if they did, they could never tell anyone), but I think their enthusiasm for Obama has cooled significantly.

He’s fighting back, and that’s good.

Much more so than McCain ever did. Sarah Palin fought back, but McCain’s people tied her hands at every turn.

We have a good chance this time.

I agree. I live In a very liberal area. Many Romney signs. Just a few Obama signs. Many less bumper stickers. The other side is not energized, and a portion will be voting for Romney or not at all. It will be close, it will be a fight, but we can abolsutely win this. The media is trying to demoralize our side because we are highly motivated. We must not let this stand.
