It's not clear from the video, but it sounds like the LONG TIME federal policy of buying cheap cell phones for poor, unemployed Food Stamp recipients.
The idea is if you don't have a phone number, it's much harder to get a job, thus, much harder to get off Food Stamps.
This goes back at least to George W. Bush, so the Hard Left can just toss this back in our faces and ridicule “Bush Phones.”
Food Stamps also subsidizes land line phones, for the same reason.
That policy goes back at least to the 1990’s.
Same tactic here in Nicaragua by Daniel Ortega...only here he gives them cheap gas stoves and other junk.

Could help explain the cooked poll numbers. What better way to ensure good polls numbers for “O” then to call a person with an Obama phone?
Anyone want to try and convince me that Obama’s campaign does not have access to their phone numbers?
Especially since in Illinois alone Obama has increased the number of free phones given away from 107,000 in 2008 to 540,000 in 2011. Imagine how many millions of Obama supporters have a free phone today in America.
i don’t know but she sure implies that it is organized, adn widespread. unless she’s polling my leg. in which case she won’t be doing that again anytime soon - i did make a complaint with her local PD.
just stay vigilant and keep everybody posted should you hear anything about this especially from other sources.
