Let the suckers pay. 5 bucks PER SHOW is outrageous.
To: MrCFdovnh
Whoa wait, I thought he said he wasn’t in radio for the money - now he wants 5 bucks a pop? I....don’t....think.....so. Is he trying to make back the 900K he spent to get himself out of the TRN contract?

Romney used Savage's "trickle down" expression during the debate to shatter Obama.. the price to listen to a Savage show is now $25.00 + tax in California.

If he did it for free with commercials....
I’d listen to it.
But NOT for $5 or $4 or whatever.

Think I know why Savage is # 2 over Rush in 'Live Streaming':
Rush has contracts with hundreds and hundreds of stations, if not thousands, reachable by probably 85% or 90% of the listening public, thus doesn't really need many streamers. Heck, stations in the Siberian tundra probably carry him. Michael probably has just a handful (WOR and a few more), so it's live or die for him with streamers.
On another subject, remember how he always made fun of Beck, O'Reilly and Rush for having a 'subscribe' "Members Only" site thingy that cost $3 or $4 a month? He used to say they would do anything to make a buck. A shocker ----> you've noticed Savage has one, now?

Guess what, Savage?? I'm still not buying!!
To: MaryLou1
It was $4.95, MaryLou. A bargain at 3.95. [cough][cough]

Well no wonder our true leader lowered his price.. from news articles:
"New survey says: Black and white Americans equally broke as population of working poor whites increases
"middle class voters who have been hit hard by the economic recession
"Eighty five percent of self-described middle class adults polled say it is more difficult now than it was a decade ago for middle class Americans to maintain their [life style]
"Middle-Class America Falling Over the Cliff. . . ."
For five days a week that's a substantial savings for each listener over the year. The sad news with his 8,000,000 listeners that's costing Savage tens of millions.
Yes, I still praise Dr. Savage for all that he's done but with this attempt at sarcasm I am trying to say, "Enough is enough, already!"
Enough already with luxury cars, yachts, private jets, $100,000 rings, appeals for contributions to pay his legal bills. . . and now this!
(Required disclosure when criticizing popular and very successful men and women.. I am a nobody, I have virtually no education, I have failed at the few tasks that I have attempted, I am lazy and no good. . . ."

*cough cough* indeed
the pay per whatever creeps me out, it just seems so cheezy
and the yep I am rich, I have million dollar boats etc bragging is excessive and boring
but to turn around after that and ask for 4 bucks (ok 3.95)to listen to my online show?
that is nerve
I am almost embarrassed for him.

"WHILE I CANNOT DIVULGE MY DECISION AT THIS TIME, I CAN SAY I HOPE TO BE BACK WITHIN TWO WEEKS AND WITH THE MOST POWERFUL ANNOUNCEMENT IN MODERN RADIO HISTORY."
Well, now. That's reaching, even for the Doc. Okay, time to guess:
He's gonna team up with Houdini using Jeanne Dixon as the medium. Will reveal the hiding places of lost wills for $3.95 a pop?

It's not there right now but last week Savage posted a small blurb/ update on his website that his NEW radio show would be premiering on the 'night' of the last presidential debate.
I'm wondering what the new time slot is going to be.
