The honey moon is over.

I don't see the enthusiasm this year as in 2008 for him.

I searched your post for logic and found none, but I am going to keep it in my ping history so that I can look at it the day after the election and LMAO.

You have no idea who is volunteering for the Romney campaign.

"I addressed a TEA party group in New Jersey this past week and people are ready to crawl through broken glass and fight alligators to get to the polls."

If New Jersey voters are fighting alligators to get to the polls then we have more of those dual voters to weed out down here. LOL

"Don’t forget they also cut a day out of their convention and canceled at the speedway."

In reality, here is the progression of the Grand Finale Shuck and Jive Show without the Greek Columns but instead wound up with the Russian ships and Turkish fighter jets.

134,000 seating capacity at Charlotte Motor Speedway (no longer a Lowes title sponsorship)

74,000 seating capacity at (New Black) Panther Stadium (it is really Bank of America Field)

20,000 seating capacity at the round ball court. And they had to let in regular people off the street while locking out some of the delegates because they were late stumbling in from some watering hole at the same time, just to fill it up.

The poll I use is the downsizing of the DNC convention from a 74,000 seat venue to a 20,000 seat venue.

Heck, that was probably half media.

I wonder that too friend. I personally have been getting so many calls from 1-800 and 1-888 and 1-202 and every other area code and simply ignore them then set them as a new contact w/silent iPhone ringtone naming them Nope, uh uh, crap, lemmelone, crap 2, stop bothering me, on and on etc!!!

Now I don’t have any idea if these are pollsters or people wanting money from me and that’s the beauty of cell phones even tho theyre allowed to harass me now it’s gonna be only one time from that particular number.

Guess my point is that there are people like me multiplied beyond measure. What kind of personality wants to talk to pollsters? I don’t have time for that nonsense, even if I had nothing to do

"IMHO I think it’s could be between a 2004/2010 turnout model."

Which is where it should be, as the 2010 tsunami recedes -- slightly -- and the electoral map sets up like 2004 but with GOP-favored reapportionment. On paper, it's an easy win (see below), the hard part is pulling it off with Mittens.

Of course they are. Nobody wants to admit they support a centralized government using it’s power to steal the fruits of their neighbor’s labor and to give it to them.

Sounds nice, but the only reason the puppetmasters in the media would report ANYTHING even remotely positive for Republicans is:

1. It's still many weeks until the election.

2. So they can change the good news to bad at the most opportune time.

This story of voter enthusiasm is one example, the story about Romney being in front with so-called independents is the other main one.

As we get closer to November, the media will gleefully report that our enthusiasm advantage is GONE and that Romney's lead among "independents" is GONE too. Merely reporting constantly that Republican voter enthusiasm is low will of course have the desired effect of lowering it.

They can't claim that those things (enthusiasm, etc.) have shrunk unless they admit they were higher to begin with.

We'll have free and fair elections again in this country just as soon as the media goes up against the wall and gets what they deserve.

The Pro-Romney Anti Obama voters are stoked! The real question is “DO OBAMA VOTERS EXIST?” Barely. We spent all day yesterday canvassing Clark County Nevada neighborhoods in pairs doing “voter identification” polls. In plain clothes and armed with a clipboard. We ask just 2 questions- 1. Are you going to vote for Mitt and the republicans this election? and 2 If yes, do you want an Absentee ballot. Things are decidedly Pro-Romney (8-1) when you talk to actual voters. And they want to cast their votes IN PERSON. They are totally paranoid about their votes not getting counted in the election. No Obama signs either, but we did see Romney signs.

It’s been that way for months. You look at the internals of the polls, and Romney gets 90% of R’s, 15% of D’s, and leads independents by at least 6 points. They have to do some statistical juggling to make a 0 lead out of that.

If there is enthusiasm for Zero, they are doing a smashup job of hiding it. In a recent visit to Seattle, I saw not one yard sign, even on the corners were several were lined up. You wouldn’t know he was running. I saw two ‘12 bumper stickers the whole time I was there.

David Kaplan run the CBS news division.
Davey was the Clintonite who in 1992 worked for 60 minutes and preps and edited the Bill & Hillary - Jennifer Flowers responses on 60 minutes.
Davey jumped over to head CNN and was at the WH every weekend working on the BIMBO eruptions including Monica media counter attacks .
CNN was called Clinton New Network due to Kaplan .
Kaplan was fired and was hired back by CBS.
He was the guy who fed Katie Couric the nasty questions via a concealed ear piece during her Palin interview and he heavily edited the interview to smear Palin.
So,CAN I ASK WHY ANYONE BELEIVES POLLS FROM THE DAVID KAPLAN DEM PARTY NETWORK ??

My view is that negative media coverage of Romney triggered Obama’s recent rise in the polls. I don’t think, barring game changing events or gaffes, the media can sustain that throughout the remaining days until the election so the numbers normalize back to an equilibrium.

I have my own informal, non-scientific polling method.

I look at bumper stickers.

In 2008, September-October, Obama stickers were everywhere.

Today, I hardly see them.

I don't see many Romney/Ryan stickers either, but I don't think that's significant. Romney voters probably don't want to have their cars keyed.

“Folks, please tell me what, besides all these polls, is making any of you get a gut feeling that Obama is going to win?”

That’s absolutely right; there is no reason for (most) people to vote for Obama, and many reasons to vote against him.

“The old saying that “people vote with their pocketbooks” is as true to today as it ever was.”

That’s right, and if it any indication Obama will go down in flames.

“Because I’m not hearing it, I’m not feeling it, and I see no enthusiasm for Obama at all.”

That’s right; even in Newark NJ there is little enthusiasm for Obama.

In 08 the writing was on the wall, floor, and ceiling and I ignored them. Yard signs, bumper sticker, da "yuts" all wearing buttons. So this time around I have been specifically looking for such signs. Nada. If anything, there are Romney or local R signs maybe 4 or 5 to 1. We also ignored the huge Dem early/absentee vote. Clearly that's going the other way.

There is no Palin to distort things this time---by that I mean that she evoked huge enthusiasm on our side but from a somewhat narrow demographic. People mistook that for Obama-type widespread R support.

at ny rate, I don't see a great deal of "love" out there for Romney, but I see NONE for Obama, even among the "yuts" but I do sense---and It's only a sense---that there is a real fear and even hatred of Obama on our side and except for SEIU types, there is no excitement about Obama. More like apologetic support.

Interestingly enough, I've seen only two Obama yard signs in the neighborhoods I drive through. Both of them disappeared after a couple of weeks. It could be vandalism, but political vandalism is usually done by Democrats, not to them. I am hoping they disappeared because their neighbors told them what idiots they were for supporting Obama.

On the other hand, there are quite a few Romney/Ryan yard signs, and the number keeps growing.

In Indiana, that the chair won by 130K votes in 2008, I have seen no Obama yard signs at all. In 2008, I saw a few in a heavily republican area. None today. I do see a couple of Obama bumper stickers but these cars are driven by blacks (surprise surprise).

Enthusiasm for the chair is way down from 2008. Here in Indiana and nationwide. He is in trouble, big trouble folks.
