FBI agents have still not been granted permission to visit the consulate building where the American ambassador to Libya was killed, three weeks after the attack by militants in the eastern city of Benghazi.
An FBI team was dispatched to Libya within days of the attack, in which three other Americans died. But they have been forced to remain in Tripoli as American and Libyan officials argue over the terms under which the two sides will co-operate in the investigation.
The consulate building itself and the accommodation annexe which also came under attack have been left largely unsecured.
"We are getting ready for the FBI team to go to Benghazi and meet with our team, start joint investigations", the deputy foreign minister, Mohammed Abdel Aziz, said on Tuesday.
He had just met Elizabeth Jones, a US assistant secretary of state, sent to Tripoli to negotiate the issue. "We are now in the context of [granting] written permission," he said.
Benghazi's chief prosecutor, Saleh Adam Mohammed, told the Daily Telegraph more than two weeks ago that he was expecting the FBI team to arrive within two days, and said the Libyan authorities fully intended to co-operate with their American counterparts. There has been as yet no explanation for the delay.

On CNBC’s Larry Kudlow show, he spoke with a correspondent that just had reporters visit the site to find 2 security guards. They walked around the site and found policy manuals, evacuation plans and the Ambassador’s calendar.

Everything started to go downhill for Muammar when he insulted the arabs, but the video of that event has disappeared. Agreed. Obama was just paying for the various favors the House of Saud sent his way over the years, including Obama’s admission and payment of his tuition to Harvard Law School.
Gadaffi flew in the face of the traditional Arabs, making a decision to bring Libya into the modern era. That and 25 cents to Obama got him killed and now the entirety of North Africa is now a US security risk.
What surprises me is that so few Americans have figured it out, believing wrongly that Gadaffi was a horrible tyrant. Gadaffi was a benevolent dictator, and his tyranny was restricted to OFFING every mujahadeen he could.Thats why Bengazi is now in the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Qaeda.Gadaffi is no longer present to keep them out and the inheritors of the so called Obama Libya democracy cannot keep them out.

Ambassador Evans gave weapons to a few of his Muslim boyfriends to use against Gadaffi, and they betrayed Evans,using those same weapons to destroy the US compound in Bengazzi.At the same time Evans did not upgrade his security, because it would make his little romantic trysts with Muslim Brotherhood agents too difficult to prosecute.This is the real reason IMHO why the FBI are not in Bengazzi, they would discover how Evans and his network of $hit packers from the State Department had conducted themselves, resulting in the destruction of our consulate in Bengazzi, and also resulting in the deaths of Americans.The general US public must not learn of these things before the election.So the FBI are not authorized to go in.Thats how liberal fascism works.

I had seen this video before Obama invaded. The Arabs all balked at Gadaffi’s truth.Before this “Arab Spring” is over , the Arabs will wish they had listened to Gadaffi.
It seems that Gadaffi did not have an Arab Spring, he had a bunch of Mujahadeen wanting him dead and needed Obama’s help to pull it off, generally the people of Libya were economically well off, and the Southern Libyan desert was banded with green and crops.
Now there is only Libyan economic ruin, Sharia tyranny,and the water no longer runs in Jabel Hasano.

What possible reason could there be to bomb that water project? Zer0 reason in the context of helping "freedom" fighters. It was a pretext to create massive strife in Libya. Just another manifestation of the Cloward & Piven strategy of putting people in such dire straits that they will accept whatever devil's bargain is laid before them for a crust of bread or a sip of water.

I don't believe everything Gaddafi said there was accurate. He had his biases. But the smackdown he laid on those other Arab leaders was a bull's eye. They sat and smirked and shook their heads at him but he was right. He turned out to be the next one hanged thanks to that demon 0bama.
