This is the first election in Obama’s career where he’s faced real competition.

I suppose you're right. Romney has no sealed divorce records to get "unsealed" late in the campaign, which is how Obummer won his first two elections. And then, apparently from what we saw tonight, Romney is no McCain (thank God).

Focus group just justified Romney’s campaign strategy. They said up until today Obama defined Romney - today Romney defined himself. So the multi millions Obama threw into ads for the last few months bashing Romney is down the toilet. Meanwhile Romney sat on his pile and did in 90 minutes what the ads wouldn’t have done in 3 months. So all you armchair strategists sit back relax and watch a pro get it done.

Well said. Now Romney can use that pile of cash he's been sitting on to run ads from a position of strength. He'll be on offense instead of defense.

Fox News briefly showed the Obama spin room. It closely resembled the Red Sox locker room as of late.

Thanks for posting. You and I are stuck with the truth and our Christian beliefs and we can't throw that away. This election goes to our core beliefs and we all have to make our own personal choice.

Romney was awesome tonight! I’ve been calling friends and family since the debate ended and EVERYONE agrees that Romney was outstanding. Obama cannot defend his agenda when confronted by a true American.

Sorry. I can’t do it. He wants, accepts and pushes for too many of the things I am totally against. I wish him luck and hope he governs at least as conservative as GB1 and 2, but I have no faith based on his record.

Well, like I said, I want deeds, not words. Mitt pulled off a masterful sales pitch tonight, but I want to see him act on those things he said. Like you, all I know of his deeds in this life, is that they've served an agenda that I'm fundamentally opposed to.

I haven't personally signed the sales contract (plenty enough others will do that for Mitt), but I'm not spitting nails at the guy tonight. I'm just too damn pleased watching someone body slam Obama to the mat for a change. I can't help being tickled as hell.

It’s not just Christian beliefs for me, though they play a part. It’s pure ‘right and wrong’ / Logic and reason. I cannot logically or by faith, rationalize supporting someone so diametrically opposed to my core beliefs. People are free to adjust their beliefs as the situation dictates as is their right. I am not.

Tonight proved that Romney will win regardless f my vote In AZ or anywhere else. So I am not going to flush everything when there is no reason under the sun for me to do so. Nor would I regardless.

That’s the bottom line for me and I DGAFreep what the rest of the herd thinks on the subject. ;)

Obama’s being the lifelong beneficiary of having doors opened for him, allies who will extract an opponent’s sealed divorce records, a national committee that will shade in his direction, and a compliant press corps that spins for him have all conspired to made him weak when faced with a real challenger.
