Jim Lehrer moderating.
Juan Williams saying obama won. lol So that makes him and Sharpton.
Even Bill Maher said Romney won.
He's going to be the President of the new Nation of Hawaii. What more could one want?
North and South American will be combined to form the new Socialist Caliphate of the Western Hemisphere, with Valerie Jarrett as Supreme Chairman. Alaska will become part of Canada . Announcement of this new re-organization under Agenda 21 ... comes Dec. 21, 2012.
Wow! (”Luntz’s Dunces-perfect description)
wow Mitt wiped Zero out. Big relief.
Not really surprising that Mr Teleprompter could not perform on the move.
Not really a surprise that the president who could not tell Letterman what the deficit was when he came into office, did not have command of the facts.
Romney needed this BIG time.
Second best thing of the night, besides Romney’s winning performance, Bill Maher losing one million dollars for Barry’s re-election. He tweeted Obama needed a teleprompter tonight.
so funny! I’ve found many other higgmeisters in the cyber world.
I know, what a slimy toad, so Romney’s clear win is even better. I hope Lehrer eats his heart out. Pig. Trying to help Hussein when this is supposed to be a fair match-up to see who will be the better person, have the better policies, for being President of the USA. What a POS. Glad it bit him in the azz anyway, makes the bite sting worse.
Yeah, not only does he have to be with Michelle tonight, but he has to tell her, and his daughters that they probably won’t be living in the White House much longer.
True, but he’s still running, and if Romney can’t cut through the Mt Everest of media bias, Hussein will still be president, and in an unrestrained second term, loose the hounds of hell on America, especially productive and white America with his plans for redistribution (he plans to especially hammer the suburbs) and cutting off “white flight” escape routes to suburbs.

I disagree completely. This was the most important debate b/c let’s face it: the American people have a short attention span. The audience for the other debates will not be as robust as this one. This was the first cold beer on a hot day.
Dangerous strategy-more regular people pay attention to the first one, and especially supporters of the declared “loser” will easily lose interest.
It was very.
He kept posting ‘watch your back’ and he asked me if I was SOL on my Amazon online account(like I would use that name on other accounts LOL) . Asked me if I lived in a total different state than I do and he said that I should sleep with one eye open, he was watching me.
Some would have hit abuse but I kept replying'LOL’, he was killing me. hilarious.
Rather like the second place team quarterback, playing an away game, and making a touchdown on the first play ?
Narcissists don't "worry" about their own performances.
I'm sure Obama is yelling at his staff how THEY failed him and let him down.
More importantly, its Bush's fault.
Those likeability numbers could keep on at a dead heat
right until election day, but in the end Romney will likely get a full 60% of the vote , and that’s UP a full 5% from what I predicted would be the vote at 55%/45%.
Ah, yes, you are correct. Things could end up much worse.
“Narcissists don’t “worry” about their own performances.”
You’ve got a point there. Maybe he was worrying about having to “perform” with Michelle tonite on their wedding anniversary. That would be enough right there to make him bleary eyed, cry even, at the thought.
This shows the fatal flaw in using Lurch as your debate coach.
Based on this we might have to take a second look at Rob Portman and see if he’s less boring than we thought.
There are approximately 310 million people in the US.
A work force of about 160 million. An unemployment rate equal to when he took office.
He claims 23 million new jobs. Thats about 14% of the entire work force.
According to BLS.gov, the highest unemployment rate was Oct. 2009, of 10%, its now 8.1%.
A drop of 1.9%
1.9% of 160 million is about 3.15 million.
Simple Jr High math would smoke that number.
I loved that Romney nailed Obama on paying taxpayer cash out to his donors. Good strong criticism from the hard-right perspective that’s too often dismissed as conspiratorial.
What, he bet Hussein would win the first debate? That would be so sweet, LOL.
Yeah, I’d like to have a secret tape recording the supposed “nice” man cussing his staff out. Someone upthread said they hope someone hides the dog-they may have been joking, but I seriously hope someone does. Muslim cultures aren’t known for their kindness to animals at the best of times.
Romney showed the nation that he is sharp, he understands business, and he is knowledgeable about many issues such as health care. We need a man like him in the White House.
There is real hope that he may win. I’m so happy.
I think Dennis Miller said it best . . . .(pardon the language) “Obama better hope that a “kicked ass” is covered under Obamacare........!”
I’ll be real curious if the MSM tries to continue to cook the books by putting Obama way ahead in the faux polls, or what their approach will be for the next few weeks. If they pad the polls for Obama, they will just make themselves look even worse in the eyes of the public, who will think should I believe these stacked polls, or my own eyes having watched the debate performance of Romney. Will be fun watching what the now squirming Lamestream media will do next. Their options are becoming much more limited.
——Romney has a sense of humor—he just said, “a deduction for taking shipping jobs overseas—I’ve been in business for 25 years and never heard of this. I should get a new accountant.” ——
Actually, Obama whined about a deduction for companies shipping jobs overseas and Romney said,
—”Well, I’ve been in business for 25 years and I have no idea what you’re talking about...” - meaning that what Obummer had said was b.s.
(I wrote this down because it was a great line).
That was one of the finer moments.
Obama’s statements were truly embarrassing. Clearly he was in over his head and got a schooling from Romney.
At one point when Romney was clearly trumping Obunga on economic issues, he essentially pleaded to Lehrer: “Jim, you may want to move on to another topic.”
I can’t help but think that many of the anti-Romney Freepers must also be grudgingly elated by this total takedown of King Narcissus. This evening was basically about showing that “the Emperor has no clothes.”
A. Debbie Waserman Schultz explaining how The Messiah won the debate.
2. Dennis Miller on O'Riely giving his take on it.
I'm heading over to DU now to see if it's completely burned to the foundation yet.
I'm partial to the following:
Ryan and Biden are next. I think we can expect another win there.
The foreign policy one is the final one and should be a cakewalk for Romney. That gives us almost a guaranteed 3 out of 4 wins.
The middle presidential one will be where Romney has to be careful now. It’s town hall format, which I’m not sure if Romney has a lot of experience with. That’s Obama’s best chance to flex his “I feel your pain” muscle.
And Candy Crowley is hosting the town hall one, obviously the biggest liberal hack moderator out of all 4 debates.

you are exactly right. This was amazing.. One of the most interesting debates I’ve ever seen. I wish my computer worked better! There is nothing better than Freeping while watching a debate or some other important event.

“Juan Williams saying obama won. lol So that makes him and Sharpton.

Juan Williams is in the tank for Obama...as is that Goulsbe ...was undecided...not any more. Oh dont get me wrong...I would never vote for Obama...but was thinking of not voting.
Thats the one I want to watch - I'll prolly DVR it too.
Ryan will prolly chew Biden to pieces ...
"Obama better hope a "Kicked Ass" is covered under Obamacare.
I am so sorry for the double and triple posts; I wasn’t sure if it was my laptop (my kids use it and download who knows what), or perhaps it was some sort of sabotage, or just plain overload.
<And yes, we can be that stupid unless were noble Leos who reign with humility.
I’m one of those ‘noble Leos’ who’s really humble. : )
Shoot, I just remembered as I was typing that Obozo and I share a birth date. Dang.
Anti-Romney freepers don't like him when he says nice things about Obama and says he agrees with him. He did that a few times tonight, but they were widely outnumbered by the criticism of Obama. I was really impressed with him mentioning how the "green energy" money is funnelled back to Obama donors. That sounds more like Trump.
Well hi then!
It *is* an excellent translation and the additional source material provided is invaluable.
It will be a joy to see “Piss Matthews” report on MSNBC that the tingle up his leg is now warm, panicky yellow liquid running down his leg.
I’m so sick of that verbal pit bull.
Okay, saying we’re really humbles totally defeats the purpose!
LOL
j/k
Imagine my horror....the Punk In Chief was literally born a mere 5 days after me.
Ick.
Frankly, I suspect that he was high on something. His pupils were dilated. Strange, strange eyes, especially right at the start of the debate.
‘Sarah Palin was just on Fox and she predicted that the media is going “to pull something” for the next debate.”
I reckon Chrissy “Tingles” Matthews won’t be “pulling something” for 0 anymore.
[yeah, I said that out loud]
