I heard a pundit on Fox Business say that he didn’t think this was a knockout for Romney; that he needed to do well in the next two debates.

Does anyone really believe that Obama will improve without significant help from the moderator? The reason why he won’t is because the reason he didn’t well is because of the substance. He has nothing to talk about.

The fact that he’s an ass doesn’t help, but he can’t say what he really believes and he cannot defend what he’s done.

Game, set, match.

Obama spent much of his first two minutes saying happy anniversary to his wife. He was trying to run out the clock on the first play from scrimmage.

I am confident Candy Crowley and Bob Scheiffer, the next two debate moderators, will come to the debates fully prepared to give Obama significant help. Lehrer tried tonight by giving Obama more time. However, Obama did not come prepared to fill the time with substance.

No knockout punch because this wasn’t a boxing match, it was wrestling, and little Barry got pinned to the mat again and again and again...

And Mitt didn’t break a sweat doing it.

I’m watching the post-debates talking heads (didn’t have the stomach to watch Obama) and several have mentioned problems Romney might have re foreign policy. Huh? Pray tell what foreign policy experience did the community organizer have before he became president? What about Clinton?

Please. Between Obama’s complete lack of a foreign policy and his unwillingness to prepare for the debates, I’m sure Romney will wipe the floor with him again.

Does anyone believe that Obama is going to have anything that he can discuss with confidence regarding foreign policy? Mitt needs to keep the pressure on and carry the fight to Obama.

I have a bad feeling that there won’t be any more debates.
Bam will just refuse.

“Does anyone really believe that Obama will improve without significant help from the moderator? “

Both Reagan and Bush did badly in first debates and ‘came back’.

But this was not just style (Obama looking down was WEAK).
This was substance. Obama’s attacks on Romney are lies and he just swatted them away.
Meanwhile, Romney demolished all Obama’s accomplishments, except for auto bailout.

” The reason why he won’t is because the reason he didn’t well is because of the substance. He has nothing to talk about.”

Exactly. Obama didnt defend his record except in the beginning, he touted the 5 million jobs created. But Romney was more effective in his stories of people still hurting and the data for where we are now.

Facts are not on obama’s side.

Romney demolished Obamacare and all Obama could do is come back and say it was like Romneycare. lol.
So Obama likes Romney’s policies now?!?!?

The more the moderator interferes the worse it gets for Obama. He’s the President. If he cannot stand up to an ex-MA Gov. and a capitalist who can he stand up to?

Most leftist freaks I’m seeing are mad at the moderator or continuing to spew their drivel about Romney.

Hussein is still god to them.
