The Emperor Has No Clothes. Romney showed it for all the world to see. I say it starts to crater.

“The Emperor has no clothes” and Eastwoods “empty chair” was shown to be totally accurate tonight.

Actually, an empty chair would have fared better than Obama did.

Obama is and always was a product, politically, of his adopted homeland - Cook County, IL. Cook County is America’s North Korea. Here you are picked and groomed because you are compliant and useful to the oligarchs that run the state.

There is little competition and no challenge to bad ideas. It’s the best place to be a conservative because you better have your arguments and facts in place or you’ll get clobbered. You learn to fight with the tools you have and you never have what you need. It’s improvise, improvise, improvise and go on to victory. We mostly lose, though.

That’s the environment where Obama learned his political tradecraft. He’s never been challenged, but always coddled. He cannot shift gears because he doesn’t have any more. So when he tries to talk about growth or cutting taxes it is empty. He’s simply lying and the people know it.

Here’s the danger in a Romney victory: the economy. It’s really, really bad and the policies in place are a bandaid on top of bandaids. We need radical surgery and there isn’t any pain medicine. Unless the economy is moving in two years it will be hard to hold Congress.

We have a chance to show just how bad liberal ideas are, but with Romney as our standard bearer we better be ready - moderation isn’t going to fix the economy.

Hillary would have been a better choice for the Democrats.

I think they will come up with something. Just yesterday, the NYT had a story bout how the Obama Regime is going to attack Libya soon, per thr Regime.

I’ve been calling it 55% / 45% for a couple of months.

What will happen is dispirited 0bummer supporters, who constitute more than 45% of Registered Voters, will stay home.

Of Votes Cast, 0bama will still earn:

95%+ of Blacks
75%+ of Latinos
65%+ of Unmarried Women
80%+ of Government Workers at all Levels
90%+ of Communists
70%+ of Union Members (okay, that’s virtually the same as Government Workers, but you know what I mean)

So 0bummer’s support won’t crater, it just won’t show up.

0bamaRomneyCare is something for which I will only forgive Romney if asked by Romney himself.

That is the most anti-freedom legislation in modern history, and RomneyCare was purely the intellectual basis of it.

That’s too much for me to get over unless specifically acknowledged as a mistake by Romney.

Who knew Romney had this kind of fight in him ?””

Perhaps many Conservatives confused Mormon politeness & courtesy with weakness.

I worked for some dynamite Controllers (accounting) & CEO’s who could slice & dice you without you even realizing you were about to bleed to death.

The best of those persons are the ones I would go back to work for at the drop of a hat.

They set a high standard & didn’t allow you to change their priorities.

When you did your job correctly to the best of your ability, you knew they were pleased. When you didn’t—you knew that, also!!

Per your personal profile:

You could have had winter & mountains in Northern California. There’s an abundance there. Even more true Republican Conservatives live there!

Your posts here & your move to Liberal Colorado tell me lots about you.

And I thank God that he did.

I’m not going to pretend that I was a Romney guy from the beginning, I wasn’t. I voted for Newt. But I think Romney is going to win and win big.

It would be really, really cool if Newt had some sort of role in a Romney administration. Secretary of State, perhaps ?

I heard someone speculate on the radio this morning (maybe on McCaslin's show?) that the debate last night could be the excuse the pollsters need to finally start reporting straight polls?

We'll see.

I’m still shocked and cautiously optimistic. If Romney can keep up this momentum, he’s going to wipe the mat with Obamugabe, and quite possibly be a pretty good president, with some guidance from A Few Good Conservatives.
