And so begins our annual 7th TexasCowboy Memorial Shoot.

TexasCowboy (aka COB1) was a true Texas gentleman, great friend, patriot, and a firm believer in the 2nd Amendment. It is truly an honor to continue a tradition he started many years ago, hosting shoots for FRiends around the great state of Texas.
Many FReepers are coming into town on Thursday so that they can have a tourist day on Friday. Those lucky people are going to be made (a good) miserable Thursday evening by enjoying TheMom’s Kick Ass Enchilada’s.
The only set tourist place is The Lady Lex.
Friday evening we will meet at Captain Benny’s, 103 Fulton Beach Road Fulton, TX 78382, at 8:00 p.m., for a delicious seafood dinner. (They do not take credit cards or serve liquor ~ so remember to bring your cash & booze.)
Saturday morning we meet for breakfast at Alice Faye’s, 910 North Fulton Beach Road, Fulton, TX 78358, at 8:00 a.m. The shoot is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m. at, Schwenke’s Gun & Pistol Range, 4407 FM 1069 Aransas Pass, TX, 78336. Mr. Schwenke has reserved the 25 yard shooting station for our group to use as “home base”. The only major rule at this range is do not shoot the livestock. A BBQ lunch will be served at 12:30ish.
Once the shooting is done some of us will be going to the Rockport Seafair, while others will go back to the Pelican Bay cottages for some R&R. Saturday evening will be filled with yummy junk food and margaritas!
According to the forecast, it looks as the weather will be perfect. Lows in the mid-sixty’s, highs in the mid-eighty’s.
Drat. I suppose to comment “live a little” will have no effect on the FReepstresses?

Glad to hear you are home safe and sound! What a thrill it was to finally meet you, Shiela and Chris! My favorite thing about you dear Jim is that twinkle in your eye and your infectious sense of humor!
Not to change the subject, but talking about my legs is NOt that interesting! LOL!
Can anyone remember who took pictures of us ladies with JimRob? I would love to see them again and to have them for my Shoot Album. If you can post those pics, I would be most appreciative. Pretty Please? :)
Both. Magnum Research says those springs can wear out over time even with light use. Thinking about leaving them out when in storage. Not like we use them for defense.

They were taken the night we had the gumbo....and you were kind of busy. :)
I didn’t take them...I only saw one or two on the camera preview screen. Maybe they got deleted. I just wish I could remember who was behind the camera. :)
No matter...just thought they’d be good to have with the other great pictures in my album.

Yes...the pics are on my camera. NYT has them and can probably post them faster than me. Maybe if we sweet talk him and say pretty please, he will post them for us tonight.
