Obama Sends Bizarre Fundraising E-mail After Debate Loss
GOP USA ^ | 10/4/2012 | Staff

Waking up this morning, I had a ton of e-mail in my inbox, but one really stood out. It was a fundraising e-mail for Barack Obama. Yes, even after his dismal debate performance against Mitt Romney, Obama was back to fundraising. But his e-mail message was one of the strangest I've seen.

First, let's start with the subject line. Again... this was an e-mail from Barack Obama's campaign. Supposedly, these are not a bunch of amateurs. Yet the subject line was simply: Hey. That's it. Just "Hey." They might have well just said Yo!

Then, we have the e-mail itself. Here is the entire message:

Friend --

I hope I made you proud out there explaining the vision we share for this country.

Now we need to go win this election -- the most important thing that will happen tonight is what you do (or don't do) to help in the little time we have left:

https://donate.barackobama.com/Tonight

Thank you,

Barack

His whole debate review is one sentence? I guess the brevity speaks louder than words. If anyone was proud of that performance, I guess they WOULD be likely candidates to still give him money.

Then, Obama talks about "the most important thing," which is not the debate, but giving Obama money. That's the most important thing about last night? Maybe in Barack Obama's eyes. In the eyes of most Americans, I'm sure the most important thing was that the president of the United States can't defend his policies and showed that he is completely out of touch.

What do you think? It sure seems like an odd e-mail to send following a complete debacle at the debate. Oh well... at least he considers me a friend

Maybe the point was that after such a dismal performance he needs money now more than ever. He can’t rely on his intelligence, record or policies. He needs some big bucks if he hopes to pull his campaign out of the toilet. Those smear ads cost a lot of money.

“They might have well just said Yo!”

Or I’m ‘axing’ for a donation.

Doesn’t the candidate get to keep whatever he doesn’t spend? If that’s the case, this is just Zippy feathering his nest.

I think they’d rather have their $200 sneakers.

"The most important thing that will happen tonight..."

How presumptuous and self-centered! What if one of my children was getting baptized tonight? What if my mother was having surgery?

"I hope I made you proud out there explaining the vision we share for this country."

What do you mean "we"? But yes, you made me proud enough to send another check to Romney/Ryan!

DUmmieland is back to their denial, Romney lies, and other alternate reality scenarios. Rather than the best strategy for them of ignore it and it will go away, they declare that the debate was a win for Obama. I guess they're hoping people forget what we all saw.

Here's companion piece to Barack's Hey from Debbie Blabbermouth Schultz:

Democrats Friend --

Last night, President Obama and Mitt Romney debated for the first time -- and it's clearer than ever before that President Obama is the right choice for our country.< Romney repeatedly and blatantly lied to the American people about his plans and the President's record. He failed to deliver the specifics that voters deserve to hear, and he doubled down on the same failed policies that hurt the middle class and led to the economic crisis. Look, Mitt Romney may have impressed the pundits with his performance, but he sure lost on facts. It's up to us to make sure President Obama and Democrats across the country have the resources they need to fight back -- and win. Make a donation of $5 or more.

President Obama clearly outlined how he'll continue to keep America on the right track by strengthening the middle class, investing in education, working to grow small business, and continuing to create jobs.

There's only one way forward, and the outcome is in your hands: https://my.democrats.org/Stand-With-Democrats

Thanks, Debbie Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Chair Democratic National Committee

After that debate, there's blood in the water.

“O” is fully aware that he won't be President any more after January.

In the meantime, he's stuffing his pockets and fund raising like crazy!

He'll need something to live on until he writes his next book and kicks off his nationwide ‘lecture tour’.

Obama’s strategy is to pretend he won the debate. Trouble with this strategy is that it’s divorced from reality and the polls will soon show that. If the media even publishes them.

The e-mail message was compiled before the debate even took place. The electronic begging message would have been the same even if Romney had stood up and announced that he was dropping out of the race.

I think you're going to see the polling data stop on a dime.

Certainly the three-times daily release of polls showing Obama ahead by nine, ten, twelve percent in every state is going to come to a screeching halt.

However, the MSM is going to push the Obama campaign's "Romney told so many lies that Obama couldn't deal with thim all" concept like there is no tomorrow. They're going to run with that, at least until they find out it's not working. But it may work.

I won't be surprised if, inside a week, polls aren't showing that "the people have had time to digest the results of the debate" and "Obama is back within the margin of errors in national polls."

Then the daily poll-bombing will start up again.

Until the MSM can spin the public back into ambivalence, we've seen the last of the daily polling data. We may have seen the last of any Presidential race polling data on the MSM, in fact.

Why would anyone open an email with only “Hey” in the subject line?

Well, it might be from a Peruvian hooker "old high school friend" who wants to "get back in touch" with you, instead of this crap.

I’ve seen one article tgis morning that says Obama’s “crisp” new message to voters is that “Romney is a liar”.

Debbie Washerwoman Schultz is the ugliest Democrat woman in the fold....and that’s saying quite a bit with Hillary and the rest of the waterbuffalo that fill up the ranks.
