The Gallup poll indicates that Obama held a 50%-45% advantage over Romney from September 30-October 2, the three days leading up to last Wednesday's presidential debate in Denver, Colorado. According to the survey, Romney and Obama were deadlocked at 47% each in the three days after the debate, from October 4-6.

A nice turnaround
If that is what the "yellowstream" media is reporting, then Romney must have a nice lead.
Watch for the faux “Comeback” the next 3 weeks. The media fellating themselves after their own propaganda ministry(AKA pollsters) tells them Obama is back in the lead in the batteground states. Its going to be darkest before dawn..DON’T BELIEVE THE POLLS any of them. Be neither buoyed by them or dejected, even Ass Clown Scotty Rassmussen.

Does anyone know the split on this?
There is no more doubt, Romney got a 5 point bounce from the debate.
So I guess it’s good to be the empty chair, show or no show he’s tied! What an amazing man. He could have been playing golf while Romney debated the empty chair.
Great news.
I really want to see Romney crack 50%. Talk about a demoralizing blow for the Kenyan and his supporters.
Maybe in a few more days.
You just can't spin that with biased polls!
It could be more. The problem from Zero's campaign's perspective is that he's spent hundreds of millions attacking a mirage. And it's obvious as soon as Romney is on stage with Obama that's it's not accurate. And that the portrait that Romney's ads paint of Obama and the 'rats are accurate.
Dick Morris claims that in races against an incumbent politician, almost all the "undecideds" break against the incumbent. We'll see.
Gallup is supposed to start running Likely Voter polls as of the beginning of October, does anyone know what those results are saying?
Good points. However, you are assuming the undecided were WATCHING the debate. Most of the people are undecided because they are not political junkies like us FReepers.
The guy that sits next to me claims to be a Republican. His wife is a democrat. She is smarter than him. He will come in spewing dem talking points. Also, he gets his news from CNN/CNN Money websites. He did not watch the debate. He said prior to the debate that it would be the last thing he would watch that night. The next day he said he watched 5 minutes of it and then changed the channel to something else. He certainly did not turn the tv off and go read a book.
My point is most of the undecided voters get their information around the water cooler and off of MSM news outlets. That is why they are undecided. They have no clue of all the information we have learned about Obama in the last four years. Most dems do not either. They have no clue about his backround. They were sold a great package and jumped on the Obama bandwagon because it was cool.
The more information about him and laws that he signed in the first two years the better chance we have to defeat him. We have a great advantage, we have the facts on our side. The problem is getting them out to the public.
