We can only pray that Romney is going to be a pro life President. Funny (not really) that Obama is so quick to say he is NOT pro life.

We KNOW that anybody that is NOT pro life, is NOT Christian, so why doesn`t Obama just cut the charade and stop saying he is Christian.

I KNOW Obama is NOT Christian, Franklin Graham knows Obama is NOT Christian and The Lord is quite certain as well that Obama is NOT Christian.

We can pray and pressure him to do the right thing. We know Obama celebrates abortion,so it`s a easy choice really.

There is no alternative that I can see. I do not really buy his conversion either, his mother was pro abortion for goodness sake. But I see no alternative

Not to wander but, Chief Justice Roberts may well NOT be pro life as well, so we may be doomed anyway, having said that I choose Romney, atleast he CLAIMS to be pro life.

You might also add that a Human Life Amendment - or any constitutional amendment - does not get signed by the president but is, instead, sent to the states for ratification.

Read up on Romney and the Mexico City Policy. Or just remain ignorant.

I don’t know if anything good will come from the Romney’s candidacy eventually, but a lot of bad has come out of it already.

Marriage and abortion are issues for the states.

RE :”Marriages need to be recognized in all states, polygamy was banned before slavery in early America at the federal level, and child killing and slavery cannot be legal anywhere in the United States, not even California and New York.”

Polygamy is not against any federal law. Dont be silly.

Murder as with Marriage belong the state's decision. Slavery was banned with a Amendment to the US constitution. Not a Federal Law.

How do you figure that?

Abortion is just a choice? and being a family of a husband and wife and 3 kids is just a local thing, not applicable when on vacation or traveling to visit grandma in a different state?

How about when you go into the military and are stationed somewhere else?

Where does it say anything about marriage or abortion in the Constitution?

I don’t know, honestly, what he is personally. I am not going to vote for him, because whatever the hell he is he has already set back the pro-life cause, and his victory will make it worse. I’d love to see Obama beaten, but not at the price of the Republican party effectively abandoning the pro-life movement.

It’s like talking to an anti-conservative libertarian that lives in either a fantasy world, or a world of the leftists dream.

You are taking the end of marriage path.

The Constitution was not written to create abortion and man to man marriage and polygamy.

You are FOS and you know it. I already told you I want the POTUS/Justice Dept to defend DOMA.
That is NOT libertarian as I am for states rights the same way Scalia articulates it.

If a liberal state gives gay couples marriage benefits then let the states voters try to repeal it like we are doing here in Maryland, I am voting for the referendum to repeal Gay marriage but NO I dont want a POTUS dictating marriage laws TO the states, No WAY.

No Kings as POTUS, not even Rs Kings.

If you really believe gay marriage is bad as I do then why are you scared of a state like MA BEING ALLOWED to pass their own laws? Are you are scared it will be such a success that all the other states will follow?

It wasn’t written to abolish them either.

Great, you even pinged a mob to get into this libertarian gay marriage, pro-abortion stuff.

I can go to the doper threads if I wanted to waste time on this nonsense.

I guess this is now another argument that you guys make for Romney, he is the libertarian, let it happen guy.

I think if we could go back in time and you tried to tell them that their constitution was fine with allowing abortion and homosexual marriage and polygamy in the United States, that they would let the mob lynch you.

Well that means you think that Scalia is a pro-abort libertarian because he articulates the same states rights points that I do.

You have no arguments. Just frustration, random thoughts and insults.

Hey ‘pinged mob’, I am now a Romney-bot according to this fruit-basket. You better watch for my shilling for MR.

Look at the thread genius, this a thread about “states rights” Romney and his arguments for abortion and the natural spill over to homosexual marriage, as states issues.

You took up his position and called a mob of supporters to argue for his position.

Personally, I find Mitt’s position lame and self serving, but then I don’t accept homosexual marriage, polygamy and abortion.
