"I mean, you know, the debate, I think it’s fair to say I was just too polite, because, you know, it’s hard to sometimes just keep on saying, 'And what you’re saying isn’t true,'" he told Tom Joyner in an interview Tuesday. "It gets repetitive. But, you know, the good news is, is that’s just the first one... And, you know, I think it’s fair to say that we will see a little more activity at the next one."

~~SNIP~~

"Yeah, I understand, but you know, what happens, though, is that when people lose one game, you know, this is a long haul," Obama replied.

~~SNIP~~

"You know, across the board these are issues that matter to people day

Exactly. Yeah Obama always has a problem with being too polite. Like right after his election when he gave the finger to the Republicans in a budget meeting and told McCain basically “I won deal with it”.

The more he tries to explain his defeat the weaker he sounds. I learned as an athlete when you lose a game the best way to put it behind you is first to accept the reality that you failed and the other person was better. Making excuses or taking shots at the guy who beat you is pathetic.

Just man up and quietly prepare better next time.

"I've got 5 boys so I know what it's like to have someone try to convince me of something when I know it isn't true" (pp)

"My plan DOES NOT include a 5 trillion dollar tax cut - STOP SAYING THAT"

Obama: (meekly, while looking down at the dog shit on the heel of his shoe)"ok"

Another day another excuse, pathetic. He is going to overcompensate in the next debate and it will be worse, even with the moderator and the msm kneepadding for him.

Excellent!

We want that smug, rude, cocky, in-your-face, racially inflammatory, thoroughly unlikeable Alinksy version of Barack on TV next week!

Obama was weighed and measured - and he was found wanting.

Wouldn’t it be smarter to stop making excuses and just let it rest? The guy’s narcissism won’t let him leave it alone.

It's weird, Obama is still reminding everyone of his blowout last week. For someone who spends his days watching ESPN, where this years NFL meme is about having a quarterback with a "short memory" and (after a loss)moving on to preparation for next Sunday's opponent, I really wonder if Obama is screwed up on dope or bad whiskey.

Seriously, No. One. Can. Be. This. Stupid. Distract us with Big Bird? 23 million Americans are out of work and we're going to vote for him because of a fictious Bird? Obama! Its some guy in a yellow chicken suit! It's NOT REAL!!!

“I was in a week long program to help me be a better trial lawyer. We had to give our presentations in front of a mix of teachers and students who slammed a book on the table if I said “you know” or “ah” or anything else except what needed to be said. It really worked. Scarred me for life.”

You should have grown up with my mother. Oy Veh! It’s probably a miracle I talk to anyone. I’m 53 and she’ll still correct my grammar mistakes. Thankfully, we live on opposite coasts.

The first excuse was he didn’t want to do his homework because it was such a drag. Then, it was he was tired from the 4 year campaign. Then, it was the altitude. Now, it’s because he’s just too nice. Tomorrow, it’ll be because he wore the wrong color panties. Next week, it’ll be back to Bush’s fault.
