Martha Raddatz is the moderator of tonights vice presidential debate. In 1991, Barack Obama attended her wedding. A year later, her then-husband, now a high level administration appointee and a personal friend of the president, attended the Obamas wedding. Irrelevant information?
Put it this way: If Raddatz were a judge, shed likely have to recuse herself from cases pertaining to the Obamas.
Were not arguing that Raddatz will slant tonights debate in the Obama campaigns favor any more than a member of Congress would automatically vote for an appropriation simply because it helps a campaign contributor.
We are arguing that the public has a right to know the facts about Raddatzs relationship to the president.
...Remember when former Clinton staffer George Stephanopoulos opened the GOP primary debate he moderated with a bizarre string of questions about birth control questions that just happened to dovetail with the Obama campaigns newly-minted war on women theme?

It sort of becomes a disqualifier for her at that point, no matter what she does from there, especially since 60% of the public now believes the media doesn't tell them the truth.
We'll see what happens tonight......
Why does the GOP agree to these terms for a debate? Surely they must have some say on who the moderator will be.
Obama was friends with her husband...Harvard.
Why does it matter whether it is revealed now or later that the moderator is in the tank?
Aren’t all debate moderators in the tank?
You mean like the dishonorable Kagan?
Because they’re morons, who think today’s Dems are just old
Roosevelt liberals and not “Long March” communists who will do and say anything to acquire power!
Obama attended their wedding.
Genachowski was also Obama campaign bundler $500,000 in 2008.
More from Daily caller. It appears ABC was not open in fully disclosing the connections.
Actually worse than that .
She went to law school with Obama and they worked on the law school rag !
They are personal friends for 25 years !!!!!
Journalists....HA! They are rabid liberal ideologues that work hand-in-hand with other liberals to enforce their utopian elitist world order where “they” as the elite decide the fates and fortunes of the masses.
When they are not in their political modes, they are nothing more than disaster ghouls seeking to gain fame and notariety by profiting from horrendous acts of violence and circumstance.
A more despicable group of sub-human filth has never graced this planet than they.
Gee, no bias there! Hah!
We are informed Freepers. Don't post untruths that get repeated over and over on this site. It was her ex that went to law school with Obama.
It makes no sense to me. The closest I can come to an explanation that feels right to me is the GOP thinks it would be impolite/unsportsmanlike to complain about the choice of moderators. So they gamely (in their eyes) go along with whomever is chosen. Bunch of idiots.....it doesn't work to play by Marquess of Queensberry rules with these people, and the GOP should have learned that long ago.
Yeah, these reporters are just democrats/marxists who took jobs as reporters so that they can turn the U.S.A. into a socialist dictatorship 3rd world country. They took a job as journalists to harm America, so they are traitors.
As somebody pointed out, Romney and Ryan NEEDED the debates, so they had to accept the garbage dished out by the Commission.
Or do you think that Team Obama would have gone to debates hosted by Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, etc.?
Obviously, it should be obvious to you, I don’t expect partisans from the right to be moderators.
I just expect a neutral person. That is really not so much to ask for.
I don’t think the GOPe actually sees anything wrong with Radich.
Yeah, but GA is already Romney’s. Is it being played in FL, OH, NC, VA, PA, etc.?
Are there any neutrals left in media, anywhere? I can’t imagine it...
Raddatz is a college (undergrad) dropout and certainly never went to law school!
She’s from Utah by way of Boston and Brian Williams and Ben Bradlee (WaPo).
Why does the moderator have to be from Big Media?
