Letting us in on a secret (CIA Benghazi)
WASHINGTON POST ^ | 10/10 | DANA MILBANK

Posted on 10/11/2012 7:17:31 AM PDT by RummyChick

When House Republicans called a hearing in the middle of their long recess, you knew it would be something big, and indeed it was: They accidentally blew the CIA’s cover.

It has been pretty clear that the CIA was involved in this mess. I find it interesting that the Washington Post - who has long been a press conduit for the CIA (See Operation Mockingbird for starters) is making it so clear.

Don't know what the end game here is but there is surely division among the ranks.

Kennedy was smirking as he was talking about intelligence and how it "evolved"

Since when is the Washington Post concerned about protecting so called state secrets? Dana Milbank is nothing more than a Pravda tool! His article seeks to blame the house republicans in some convoluted way for secrets that the state department was putting out for all to see. I smell yet another cover up in the works and one that the administration and their lapdog press will try to turn into a lose lose for the republicans. This article is the start of a concerted effort by Obama to blame Issa and company for outing CIA. Another Plame Game in the works.

Dana Milbank again...;)

The Wash Post is a condiut for DoD (Bob Woodward) while the NYT is a conduit for the CIA (Seymour Hersh).

Republicans’ fault for blowing the CIA’s cover. Republicans’ fault. Bush’s fault. Romney’s fault.

NYT was also part of Operation Mockingbird but the Grahams spearheaded the whole thing under direction of Frank Wisner.

That just didn’t die away despite the claims of George Bush...

Bob Woodward had no journalistic experience but yet WAPO hired him.

There is an interesting connection of Obama’s girlfriend:

Her family is the Jessup/Alger Hiss/Dean Acheson/founder of a Beirut College/Penrose/Richard Helms/ Frank Wisner/ CIA...connected...as you follow the trail.

And SR was in a photo with Arnie Nachmanoff (of Henry Kissenger fame..helping to decide the fate of Chile) with Robert Ruenitz who gave 320,000 to Occidental for a foreign lecture series and at one point was with the foreign service in Japan. Haven’t quite figured out how he made his money but he did say SR was a loner .

Round and round you go down the rabbit hole

Now it’s even more bothersome, those 30-40,000 missing weapons....

This WP editorial is an after the Libya raid cover for Obama’s Admin lapses and lies. Since the terrorist raiders attacked both compounds, the CIA one was no secret from the locals. Obama’s political heads in the State Dept. ignored the requests for security and lied after the attack.

I watched it unfold yesterday and the State Department insisted the information was declassified already, (even one of the Dems reiterated and supported the states declassification point), when Issi told them to shut it down anyway. Propaganda News serves to feed the masses and it becomes truth. It disgusts me.

” - - - I find it interesting that the Washington Post - who has long been a press conduit for the CIA (See Operation Mockingbird for starters) is making it so clear.”

Hmmmmmmmmm - - - - - ? Does the CIA also have one named “Operation Big Bird?”

Might be, as Fox News says Obama has mentioned Big Bird 8 times and Benghazi zero times since his debate with Romney.

Obama and Biden can’t keep secrets when it comes to National Security, so 8 mentions of a secret operation seems about par for Obama, the tattle-tale.

BTW, In the VP Debate tonight Ryan should ask Biden why he was the one who told the enemy about the top secret Seal Team Six involvement in the BL raid on the Monday following the raid.

Can America afford another 4 years of Biden’s betrayal of Top Secret Information?

Is America less safe because of Biden’s blabber-mouth?

Could an enemy spy have released top secret information faster than Biden did?

I don't understand. It was the State Dept officer Lamb who put up the photo and she and Kennedy insisted it was OK for public viewing.

And I believe it was a Democrat (the "Ranking Member of the Ctee") who asked for the exact number of the Rapid Response team. I thought that were the locals (13th of Feb. brigade whatever).

Milbanks conveniently forgot the cover was already blown by the attack this past Sept 11. Why to do you think the terrorists brought RPGs to what the State Dept thought (their words) was a protest. Lies or ineptness. Well lies because the State Dept is inept.

Same game they played with the “Plame Game”.

Claim it’ an undercover “classified” CIA operation so no one can talk about it.

Don't buy into any BS that the video and protest in Egypt had nothing to do with this attack.

The protest and the attack were coordinated months in advance to occur on the same day.

The idea behind the administrations lie that the attack was spontaneous was to try and make it appear as if the terrorist are so in tune with the news that they are basing their terrorist attacks on what is in the news instead of the news being orchestrated for the attacks.

With the news being orchestrated for the attacks, that means our little lefty friends are the ones that have been orchestrating the news for the attacks.

This attack was orchestrated by a two bit attorney trying to create their own defense.

It’s pretty well known that the CIA works under the cover of the State Department.

You can bet that Hezbollah knew about William F Buckley when they kidnapped him.

The Ambassador to Indonesia left right before the coup and became the head of East-West as they were training for the CIA.

I have said from the beginning that it is possible there was some kind of CIA operation going on here that went wrong...and thus the wild cover story.

The diary was an obvious plant for CNN. Who planted it and why.

CIA TRUMPS ALL. If they are in a fight with the State Department or Obama or both - Obama and Clinton will lose.

So what if the CIA was part of the Benghazi operation?

That still doesn’t explain or excuse the fact that from day one Obama and Clinton knew this was a coordinated terrorist attack and not a spontaneous uprising in response to a video. Yet they lied about it for weeks and in the process, actually incited uprisings all across the ME.

And it still doesn’t explain or excuse why, despite repeated requests for additional security in Benghazi, none was supplied.

Milbank’s spin is a trial balloon, a transparent attempt to change the subject and disparage Republicans and the CIA.

This is clearly a case of “Once you take a dump, you never know where the smell is going to go”.

Hillary took the dump and we are all smelling it.
