I believe you are right.
People are second guessing his decision to “let Joe be Joe”
But I think he made the right choice and revealed amazing self control

Our last horse (after 40 years of always having horses on the farm) went to a retirement home last summer ... 3 kids, lots of attention, apples every day, grass up to her knees.

Oh, wow. I must admit that heard all of the debate, but did not “see” all of it, and was concentrating on the person speaking when I was looking.
The GOP should run that ad all they can...
Whatever it is, it seems to be over. That in itself is a clue that the problem was external, which makes it deliberate.

I just barely hung on during that debate. Barely could contain myself from throwing my wine glass at the TV.
Biden’s behavior was INFURIATING to me . . . a smirking, condescending JERK. He had NOTHING to defend his record with, so he just did what he usually does and that is to spin long winded strings of one lie after another.
He’s the EPITOME of everything that’s wrong with Washington. Everything — such a lifer/loser political hack if there ever was one.
This debate, and Biden, will always be remembered for how he treated Ryan in this debate ...people will long forget what was actually SAID.

I don't believe it was emotion that Ryan was missing though.
I would have liked Ryan to tell Biden what he excepts of him when he's speaking! It was Biden that was missing something - respect for the other person and that includes every American. And we wonder why obamacare was pushed through and then before even reading it?
Arrogance, disrespect - Biden showed what it looks that.
