True, I think in the end the libs will say Biden won because its not about substance but about putting down the other guy, that’s all libs care about. I think for people that are in the middle will just see a jackass.

Brit Hume, and Greta surprisingly, agree that Biden came off as an ass. The moderator did too, imo. Ryan won on likeability, imo. He was the only likeable person sitting at that table!

What’s truly disappointing is how Ryan failed to give Biden anything but a slap on the wrist - a guarded one at that - in response to his constant interruptions.

He could have said something like “See, this is one of the reasons why President Obama and Vice President Biden haven’t been able to achieve what they promised: a partisan philosophy that isn’t interested in hearing what the other side has to say.” And run with how he’s tried to be respectful, Romney’s bipartisan background, yadda yadda.

My fears are based on the fact that 1/2 of Americans are complete morons. Witht hat knowledge I’m sure those a holes will all believe Biden to be the big big winner here .
Once we get rid of Obama we still have to deal with the millions of brainwashed jerk offs who voted for these clowns in the first place. It’s scary that almost half the country STILL believes in these jerks

NEVER A SPLIT SCREEN WHEN BIDEN TALKED, ONLY WHEN RYAN TALKED TO MINIMIZE HIS MESSAGE

Can I ask?

What channel or Network did you view the debate on?

I watched on PBS.

Radditz will be the darling of the DC cocktail parties tonight with all of the high fives.
You bet.
It has been asked before. Why the hell does the GOP stand for liberals always being the moderators of these debates.
Because they want the TV time one-on-one, and this is the best deal they can get in negotiating with the Democrats and wire service journalism. Until and unless the Congress passes a law revoking the FCC license of any TV station which doesn’t broadcast debates, Republicans will be in the “If you want it bad, you’ll get it bad” mode.
Having any moderator at all, be he never so neutral, is objectionable because the moderator is “positioned” above the future POTUS and his competitor. There should be debates, and they should be moderated only by a chess timer controlling the microphone being broadcast.

The participants in the debate should be in separate venues so that there is no question of anyone talking over anyone else, and no question of anyone hogging the microphone. If it’s a 90 minute broadcast, when you burn up your 45 minutes you have to shut up.

But that’s a pipe dream until a Republican administration and and a Republican Congress grow up and stand on their hind legs.

Two hours ago, I didn’t hate Biden.

Now I do.

Bingo.

This administration does not work and play well with others. They do not collaborate. Bipartisan success has utterly eluded them. Watching Biden interact with a reasonable man like Paul Ryan, it's not hard to pinpoint the problem.

Biden, you dolt, don’t you realize that Iran is working on the weapon simultaneously with the uranium enrichment? They may be crazy, but they’re not stupid.

“i didnt like the smirks but no one votes on the basis of the vice president” he just said.

That’s not what we heard about Palin. I hate their double standard, and that they get away with it.

Hume - Biden wanted to dominate the debate to make up for last week, but he came across as rude, condescending.

Romney dominated, but came across as more likeable.

So far on FNC, little talk about the substance, except for pointing out that Biden’s remarks about Benghazi intel and requests for more security there were not accurate.

99% of the reviews have been about Biden’s smarmy demeanor.

CNN- WOW!!!

Gergen; from a substantive issue it was a draw but Biden looked "childish" (paraphrase) with the eye rolling and laughing...

Female on panel- it was a draw on substantive issues but Ryan looked more presidential; the eye rolling and condescension will not go over well with people...

Judging from the post-debate commentary, Biden’s smirking came off as puerile.

Watching it on DVR - I have never seen a VP look so unprofessional in a debate. It is insulting. He is such an a-hole.

For me, the interruptions from Biden and that hag have completely ruined this debate.

The entire debate process was ruined and they made this entire event nothing but a joke.

/
.

Yep and this time the moderator really did suck. The left will think Biden was wonderful but Biden came across like an rude smirking asshole.
It’s not as if Ryan was stupid or said the wrong thing.

Most people probably tuned out after 30 minutes because of the steamrolling going on and the moderator allowing it.

In the Romney debate the left said Jim Leher was horrible when he was actually quite good now lets see what they say about this bitch.
