They had real-time responses of their focus group and Ryan got most positive responses. They couldn’t spin what they’d already shown...

Except I don’t think Fox would take money from the Obama administration to bury some stories and make up others.

LOL. A 48-44 on overall win, 53-43 on likeability, 50-41 on clarity is definitely a win for Ryan. Not a blowout, but still a win.

Yeah but just taking this CNN poll as face value for what it is with the +/- then it does mean its a tie......I didn’t see anything tonight that would move people one way or the other

Yes he did!!!! I don’t go in for that woman’s lib crap, (I am a woman) but even I was offended. There was one point when he was wagging his finger at her and kept saying her name like it was a dirty word! It was downright creepy

“......The sad thing is this performance was a conscious decision to be rude and obnoxious. “

I think it was deliberate but only to dodge BiteMe’s record. He could not have a formal serious discussion about his record. BiteMe has always projected his domineering persona in his political career to control the conversation. I’m glad that Ryan didn’t go there. The contrast in tonight’s debate was very stark.

BiteMe proved that while you can control and dominate a conversation by laughing, smiling, smirking and interrupting.....at the end of the evening you are still an obnoxious asshole.

It is the Romney lead over Obama, can’t remember the poll, but the numbers were exactly the same.

Destined to go down in the annals of political farces, tonight’s debate proved one thing; just how increasingly desperate, juvenile, and out of touch Democrats really are as the election nears. Debates are supposed to be informative, professional forums that invoke a constructive discussion of the most pressing issues. Yet, it’s obvious Team Obama – which includes the home town moderator - realized they could not beat Ryan on the issues, so they decided to turn a democratic staple for the voting masses into a prime time circus replete with century-old, stale stereotypes and Jersey Shore sensationalism.

If anyone actually believes Biden’s obnoxious and smug performance won anything, especially votes, they are in for a rude awakening on November 6th. The fact countless independent voters - those who are the most immune to partisan spin - were appalled by Biden’s rude and condescending behavior, as well as the moderator’s blatant favoritism, is case in point. Then again, if you really want to know who won the debate, go back – if you dare – and keep score on every issue. There are no points for interruptions, smirks, tantrums or seizures….just sound, coherent, factually correct answers. Or, for the sake of brevity, you can sit back and recall that 23 million are out of work, 47 million are on food stamps, over 7 million homes have been foreclosed since 2008 and gas is $4 a gallon. But “honest” Joe didn’t mention that, did he? The circus never does.

Ryan could stand to lose the Eddie Munster hair cut

Biden behaved like more of a Cheech and Chong impersonator than a top level executive

I think this was a Wellstone funeral moment.

Like then, the left thought it went just fine, and are not going to understand the negative impression it leaves on voters, especially independents, blue dogs, and normal women. They believe their own hype, and their own fairy-tales about Republicans, and therefore this (like the Wellstone funeral) was justified and even heroic. Those who are sane, will merely see this as repulsive.

If the storyline of the first debate was that Romney was likeable, and presidential, while Obama was an over-his-head schoolboy being chastised for doing poorly, the storyline for this debate — the one that will stick with voters — is that Biden is boorish, classless, and rude, and Ryan, while clearly new to this kind of stage, has poise and character.

This may help galvanize the radical part of the democratic base. But that is the only positive thing they can draw from it. Attracting independent women, Reagan democrats, and independents just got that much harder.

Something I found at Breitbart........When a wise person debates with a fool, the fool rages and laughs, and there is no peace and quiet. Proverbs 29:9-
