No one’s denying that Joe Biden delivered the more energetic performance in Thursday’s vice presidential debate. He interrupted Paul Ryan 82 times in 90 minutes. Yet some polls say that Ryan won and many pundits are calling it a draw. How come?
Two reasons. First, deconstruct the Biden bluster and some of what he said was nonsensical. In the first 10 minutes alone, Joe insisted that the US intelligence community was wrong on Libya but trustworthy on Iran. He claimed that the staff at the Benghazi embassy didn’t want extra security when lots of sources say that they begged for it. He seemed to rule out war with Iran under any circumstances, which would remove America’s one bargaining chip. As political klutzes go, Biden is to talking what Gerald Ford was to walking.
More importantly, Biden was rude. Perhaps he was trying to emulate Romney’s dominant performance from the week before. But where Romney was commanding, Biden was just insulting. The most damning moments came when the camera went split screen. On the right was Ryan trying to make a serious point about world peace. On the left was Biden laughing. The Vice President’s performance will doubtless rally the party faithful and give them a few applause lines to live off through to November. But it’s hard to imagine independents warming to these theatrics.
The Democrats have made the classic mistake of thinking that what they want to see is what everyone else wants to see. This isn’t peculiar to the Obama/Biden ticket but part of a long-term evolution. Back in 2000, Al Gore huffed and puffed his way angrily through a presidential debate and possibly cost his party the election. The Democrats ought to have learned from that, but .....

They’ve been angry and rude for quite some time. I even see it in some “friends” of mine. Just anger and hateful spite, then they go home and live otherwise as conservatives. Why they can’t see the forest for the trees is beyond me, but several of them run their own small businesses and they just hate Republicans, especially conservative ones.
It’s so bad we don’t even talk politics. I don’t bring it up and neither do they. Friendship prevails but so many times I’d like to ask them “how’s that Hope n Change n Unity workin out for us”?
That would really PO them. Angry, bitter, hypocritical.
First they were the party that booed God. Now they’re the rude party. Aren’t you proud, Dems?

When someone constantly interrupts you, belittles you with gales of laughter, smirks, guffaws, windmills their arms to distract you, that person is deliberately trying to shut you up. He’s being a bully.
The Vice President of the United States of America should be above making NEENER NEENER faces during a debate. Pathetic!
Shame is something that people driven by moral values exhibit. It flows from humility--a realistic assessment of the supreme importance of things beyond the ken of mere man. Those who deny God's reality do not even comprehend the concept.
I have observed the Biden method of debate, many many times through the years. To give the devil his due, Biden was "better" at it than most. That is not really a great compliment. It was very, very bad behavior.

Rush did a great job today explaining the insufferable Plugs that some Americans saw for the first time, is what we conservatives have known for decades. He is a corrupt and foul first order demagogue and perfectly reflects the values of his party.

They've been that way for a long time. Take a look at their constituency and it clear why.

Lucky for us the ABC camera man and production staff were just as big a jerks as the rest of the biased, corrupt liberal assh*les. If we hadn't seen Biden on the split screen we wouldn't understand what a jerk Biden was... guess the suck ups at ABC overplayed their hands. Maybe NBC can doctor the tapes for them - to make it 'better'... and the 'oh so talented' writers at the New York Times can re-write Biden's lies so they sound .... well, more convincing. These lowlifes have to work together... to keep the scam going.
