Two and a half weeks ago I wrote a column for Fox News Opinion calling on Hillary Clinton to quit as Secretary of State.
As more information comes out about what really led to ambassador Chris Stevens’s death on September 11, we’re hearing growing murmurs demanding the same thing. It’s not a full-throated chorus yet. But yesterday’s hearings in front of the House Government Oversight Committee are encouraging others to join in.

According to Klein’s sources, Bill Clinton has assembled an informal legal team in case there are cables or other evidence that would legally implicate Hillary. KINGTAX- U R rong. It’s easier and better to go after the Lieutenants. That way others will think twice b4 hooking up with just any leader. Then they will also resent the ‘leaders’ who hung them out to dry.
While it will not atone for the humiliation the nation suffered at the hands of terrorists in Libya, and the murder of our ambassador and three others, if this debacle does at least forever sink the vile creature who is our Secretary of State then this cloud does indeed have a silver lining.

This might have been Hillary’s exclusive decision, but I can’t imagine Obama was not consulted at some point. Hillary isn’t dumb. She would not want to be out on a limb having to depend upon Obama to provide the only available lifeline!
My guess is she carried out White House policy and can show that it was indeed White House policy.

What continually amazes me is that the Obama administration reflexively lies about EVERYTHING, & they are so very bad at it.

How Clinton & Obama thought they could cover up this criminal negligence, with so many people well aware of the dangerous situation in Benghazi, is beyond my comprehension. Are they that stupid, or is it that they really don't care? Do they ever think about anything beyond the very next move? I suppose it is some small blessing that they are not better at lying & corruption.
What worries me is that our enemies are seeing how incompetent & corrupt our leaders are, & they will use this opportunity to hurt us. Most likely, the Benghazi attack is probably a product of this opportunity. There will be more attacks, & especially so, if Obama is reelected.
I agree. They're in a deadly embrace. They both get out of this together, or they will bring each other down. Hillary made the executive decision to get Bin-Laden. Several attempts were nixed by Obama, and the final attempt where Obama finally relented was probably because he told her she would be held responsible if it went wrong. So Obama took the glory from the State Dept. He can't do that again (make her responsible if things go wrong), because Hillary will let the evidence leak that Obama was against getting Bin-Laden and that damages half of Obama's legacy. Obama will be forced to not totally abandon Hillary, lest they both go down.
Does anyone seriously think that Obama is going to dump Hillary before the election? The sucking sound he would hear would be Hillary sycophants running away from his campaign. Any kind of a resignation from Hillary would mean the end of her presidential aspirations, and that isn’t a nightmare that is going to go away easy.
She needs to tell exactly what really happened—then resign saying she didn’t do anything wrong but followed Obama’s lead. Toss him under the bus first! This would cut Obama’s throat—and—at the end of her resignation she should tell the MSM that she is voting for Romney and every right thinking American should as well!
