RFID chips let schools track students -- and retain funding -- but some parents object
NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt ^ | October 14, 2012 | Charles Hadlock, NBC News

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Two San Antonio schools have turned to radio frequency identification (RFID) technology to help administrators count and track the whereabouts of students on campus.

Students at Anson Jones Middle School and John Jay High School are required to wear ID cards imbedded with electronic chips, similar to highway toll tags, which allow schools to more accurately record daily attendance. Public school funding is often tied to the number of students attending class each day. The Northside Independent School District in San Antonio receives about $30 per day in state funding for each student reporting present.

The RFID tracking system can help schools count students who are in the school building, but may have missed the morning roll call. On a recent morning at Anson Jones Middle School, where 1,200 attend, the traditional roll call counted 71 students absent. But the RFID system indicated that eight of those 71 were actually in school that day. A map indicated several students were in the band hall, where practice was running late, while others were near the office. That’s eight times $30 or $240 the school would have lost that day in funding.

Will that be forehead? Or right-hand?

It's not. Yet.

And in San Antonio, Texas.

Revelation 13:13-18 (King James Version)

13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

You just know the kids will have fun with this: burry them in the school grounds, flush down the school toilet, hide them in school library books.
The jokester possibilities are endless.

Probably true. But there will no doubt be fines for parents, 3-day suspensions, reinstatement fees for students who lose their tracking collar, oops, I mean "badge".

Or just give it to another student to carry around while you go skip class. Better yet get 20 or 30 kids to toss theirs in the same restroom garbage can ans spread the rumor of the massive brawl.

I'm also imagining the fun that could be had with magnets. Imagine the fun if 75 kids suddenly "went dark."

I would leave it in the locker.
Can’t fine parents if it’s not lost or
Damaged. A massive organized boycott would be effective. School suspending every single student will get national attention. What can they do? Shoot you? Texas will shoot back.

That’s the hot ticket. Disable them and claim innocence.

That’s what I would do if someone wanted to track me like some kind of damn pet.

“...San Antonio receives about $30 per day in state funding for each student...”

25 students in a class....
$750 per day!

Hey, I’ll rent a small conference room at the Holiday Inn, and teach these kids. Just let me choose the books & curriculum and I will refund the money for any kid who does not pass the state exams or beat the state average for SAT.

Katherine Albrecht was on c2c with George Noory a few nights ago about this. You can find it on youtube.

Mainly it was about persecution of the Christian honor student girl who refused to wear it. Katherine pointed out that girls wearing a necklace like this all day with microwaves right between their breasts might cause breast cancer (she's fighting it right now).

That was incidental. They concluded that segment with George asking, "Are we going to have to wait another generation before the people will accept it?"

IMO this in and of itself it not what revelation means but is conditioning people to accept chips and tracking.

Going with right forearm.

There are people already chipping their kids and dementia parents. The chips are similar to the animal chips.

Those animal chips are interesting, about the size of a grain of rice, with tiny holes, they are injected into the back muscle so the muscle fibers will grow through the holes, they don’t migrate and its nearly impossible to take them out with out damage. (Ok, that was in 2001, it’s possible they have changed)

They'll have to pull off some horrid dastardly deeds to get it that far.

Hey they are willing to murder infants, do you doubt they will?

All this program did was to mark children in that area for disaster to further their agenda.

If you know any one with children in this program, advise them to get out of it asap.

10 dollars per kid, 15 kids, 20 days of school in a term. 3k dollars in 3 months, 12k in a year. One hour of instruction.

Kids would go to school 20 days in 3 months - say twice a week.

The pisser is the students are tracked for money. $$$$
As long as those chips are pinging, no one cares if the student is on campus or not.
A great money making venture for an enterprising student. I can already see the underground pass the chip network now. :)

Junk like THIS is what causes We the People to lose battles like this.

We need to fight this on the basis of FREEDOM and SELF-GOVERNMENT, not "breast cancer."

I am an electronics engineer, and I can confirm with near 100% certainty that 125 kHz signals DO NOT CAUSE breast cancer.

Sorry for shouting, but I hear this kind of technophobic junk all the time; I design "Smart Meters" for a living.

It should surprise no on that GOVERNMENT schools did this.

Government (socialism) is the problem. The government should stay out of doing Anything the free market(private businesses) can do and that includes government schools and a million other things the government is "doing".

Our forefathers put up with less tyranny than this in the American Revolution and civil war. Some of us see the problems but are too afraid to act until it will be too late and they have chips in all of us. Liberals/democrats voluntarily vote for enslavement and poverty by voting for democrats and Obama . And liberals think we conservatives who are for freedom are the enemy.

“in your right hand or in your forehead’

This technology is certainly heading us in that direction, and it always required computers/internet and wireless communication to come into being,

I also have to wonder what if its not even more sinister than that, because I’m not about to take a chip in my hand/forehead for any reason,

I’ve been wondering for some time where biometrics is going. For example with the ipad3 (I have an ipad2) having the technology already built-in for retina scans, its now becoming much more common place,

And I wonder if we could consider that everyone already has a ‘mark’ in their forehead? no need to raise alarm with the masses and have them insert a chip with stored information etc., we have cloud computing/internet database storage now, etc, just need the identity markers and for us to accept it for identification, just a thought,

Whatever it is, we then need the right global conditions/economic upheaval to institute this new monetary system:

“Arab spring” = setting the stage for Israel’s enemies to surround her and come against in lockstep as prophesied for the last days.

“2008 Financial Crisis” = setting the stage for a new global economic model using numbers for buying and selling.

No doubt you are right but it has been proven that embedded chips have caused cancer in lab rats and some pets. I don't think it's hype, I checked it back to an AP article from a spychips page.

We don't know what causes breast cancer though. I wouldn't have thought of that; it's just what was put forth.

I was worried about my smart meter as I was one who went along without a whimper because they wouldn't have to come in the house any more. I hadn't heart about it but when I finally did, it made me wonder as I sleep very close to it.

Well I planted a forsythia bush to hide all the ugly on that side of the house, and it's grown like gangbusters. So that will be my canary in the mine. The only thing is that water is scarce on that side of the house so it gets a little wilty on hot days but withstood all those days of drought. It's pretty in the spring when it blooms but otherwise a nuisance.

We have moved to RFID cards where I live. For now a choice. The old way or new way. But we are warned that the old way would/could cause delays in flying. The struck it down at the federal level for now I think and we got them anyway, have until Jan 15 to get them.

No, I get a sense that he thinks it's bad. But I also get a strong sense that he isn't grounded in any faith or extremely heterodox to include any reliigion. He has such a potpourri of guests, he has to be polite to them.

Anyway, there are only certain things I will listen to. Sometimes Christians will call in to admonish when they talk about ouija boards, etc.

I have ZERO problem with this for students with a history of truancy, but only for students with a history of truancy. Such students have lost the right to complain. The schools must have some means to track the movements of misbehaving students.

Outside misbehaving students, I disapprove of chipping students

First, pets.

Then prisoners and Alzheimer’s patients.

Then on to children and now high school students.

It will all go “mainstream” and Christians who refuse will be labeled as “religious fanatics”.

All leading up to the time.
