Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskills husband used the U.S. Senate Dining Room to cut business deals selling tax credits tied to stimulus money, a whistle-blowing executive inside his company alleged on an audio recording exclusively obtained by The Daily Caller

He [McCaskills husband] did 4 projects these were rural development deals where he came in and stole from a guy and he did the federal credits and he got Enterprise Bank to invest in those four deals and those have been really iffy, Woods said on the tape.

Woods said those four projects housing developments were all here in Missouri. He explained how Shepard brokered deals with investors who counted on high returns in the form of federal and state tax credits that came with these projects. In return for the deals, Woods said, the investors gave Shepard cash he could use elsewhere in his business.

Woods said one such project, in Clinton, Missouri, got $5.5 million in stimulus funds. They didnt have to borrow a dollar.
Woods said Shepard bundle[d] that stimulus-funded project with two other projects that didnt get stimulus money in Lees Summit, Missouri, and Hannibal, Missouri, and took the tax credits from all three to an investor in the Baltimore-DC area

Does [Sen.] Claire [McCaskill] have an understanding of this?
Oh, hell yes, Woods responded. He [Shepard] doesnt do anything well, let me put it this way he doesnt do anything without Claire understanding it.
Sometimes he does it even if she says I dont want you to. .... But yeah, shes aware of everything he does.

GREAT!! Lots of toast going to be served on Nov 7 a.m.!
That’s not optimal
Yeah, but when do these things ever count for Democrats?
I have seen a one new development in that town. It has been built in the past 3 years and it is senior housing. If it is the one, I wondered where all the money came from.
But will it? Hardly.
Just like Bonzo’s “explosive”, “breaking hard”, “bombshell” “viral” racist video from his 2007 performance at Hampton — you know, the video that surfaced just a few weeks ago.
That “bombshell” was a dud. The plain fact is that anything that could hurt ANY Rat candidate will be stifled completely by the so-called mainstream media.
And if they don’t report it — which they won’t — then it simply never happened. Just like all of these dirty deals that Claire and her hubby made. 99% of the public will never hear about them, therefore they never happened.
Akin's congressional office said it is not true that Akin pays women less categorically and pointed to the last quarter, in which women in Akin's office made more than men by $3,158 on average over four months, according to LegiStorm data pulled by Akin's office Thursday night.
"I think it's interesting that an auditor would chop off the last several years," said Akin's communications director and district director, Steve Taylor, referencing McCaskill's career as Missouri state auditor before here 2006 election to the Senate. Taylor called the accounting "somewhat disingenuous."
ok - she says he a lying twice convicted felon (twice convicted felon appears to be true). The article mentions he had some sort of job/responsibilty with the husband’s scams. Anyone know how long they were in business together?
yeah so sad....but true.
I’m in St. Louis and I saw an ad on TV last night about this. I don’t know if he sponsored the ad or not, because the TV was just on in the background.
Great! At least it’s getting out there. Thanks!
Yeah, I really hope he can pull it off!
Low volume ping list
FReepmail me to be on, or off, this list.
Nothing about this in yesterday’s or today’s St. Joseph News Press. And our local podunk news cast (KQ2) didn’t say anything about it yesterday either.
I think it’s being buried.
The story is getting a tiny bit of traction in alternative media sources (like here) but a big fat zero in the “mainstream”. Since the media won’t do its job, whoever is funding the Akin campaign — if anyone is — needs to get ads on the air ASAP.
I still think Akin could win anyway, but there’s likely to be a LOT of ticket-splitting here; right-thinking people can’t stand Claire but they just won’t be able to pull the Akin lever since he is so ‘damaged’. Pity is that McCaskill would be much MORE damaged than Akin (who would then win in a landslide) if the media wasn’t a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Democrat party, and would just once report the truth about a corrupt Rat bastard.
Mark Levin went off on McCaskill last night. He talked about her airplane to her husband’s dirty deals. IF anyone has the transcript it would make a great post.
