Rasmussen: Get ready for a small Romney bump out of the second debate
Posted on Friday, October 19, 2012 11:54:32 AM by Arthurio
Todays presidential tracking poll from Rasmussen shows a two-point gain for Barack Obama, bringing him into a tie with Mitt Romney at 48/48. At first blush, that looks as though Obama may have righted the ship after the second debate, but Rasmussen warns that the most recent surveys show momentum in the opposite direction:

“So Romneys going to win, ok, no need for me to vote on the 6th...
I already voted, mwahaha!”
Saying ditto’s, I did too, makes me incredibly happy. Even though in my case, as I live in Illinois (ugh), my vote probably is immaterial. However, it still pleases me that Obama will probably have a much closer vote in his old home state than he thinks he will, and that I will have helped in that effort.
It’s “dead girl or live boy”... but your point is the same.
I’m guessing Justice Roberts was threatened with something like this.
He IS a liberal flip-flopper.
I can’t stand him and refuse to vote for him because Mitt Happens IS a liberal.
I’d happily vote for Paul Ryan or Allen West.
This is not my year!
Lions and Bears, Oh My!
Where did he say that?
Geraldo has a radio show in NYC. He interviewed the guy from gallup today.
He said OTHUG is going to move up a few points in the next day or two.
You heard it hear first. DONT BE SURPRISED!
Isn't the expression supposed to be a live boy or dead girl...I mean sex with girls is still less controversial than with boys for a man right?
The options are Obama or Romney. If you don’t vote for Romney then you are supporting Obama. Obama is out to destroy this country and remake it in his image - please don’t help him.
Weekend effect coming. But Zero’s “not optimal” comment will hurt him. Especially given that he made it on Comedy Central (contrast that with his sending out form letters to the families of the fallen in Afghanistan).
I’m just telling you what he said on he show.
Well, first of all you have margin of error in both Ras and Gallup as with all polls of course. So one having a tie today and the other a 6 point lead may not be that much different when you figure that in.
I think the reality is Romney with a 2-3 point lead and both polls will show that in the next few days or so - one going up, one going down.
Id happily vote for Paul Ryan or Allen West.
Do as you wish at the top of the ballot. I believe the rest of us can bring this one home without you.
However, do you plan to vote -- and add to the down-ballot totals -- or sit at home and pout?
If it's the former, you'll get no grouse from me. But, if it's the latter...
I’ve aways thought the recent Romney 6-7 point lead in Gallup was either an outlier or an outright setup to start the “Obama bounce/comeback” meme.
0bama can’t get the car out of the ditch. Even with the Republicans in the back seat.
should be R53 O46 with 1% other - if undecided factored in - Romney may be right with the other 47 remark
I’m just saying - don’t be surprised when it narrows a bit and the media goes wild.
good point. hope he does too.
