Quinnipiac ^

Mitt Romney among likely voters in the crucial swing state of Ohio, according to a Quinnipiac University/CBS News poll released today, half the 53 - 43 percent margin he held when Quinnipiac/CBS News/the New York Times surveyed Buckeye likely voters September 26.

Obama sure is popular amongst the bisexual/bulldyke-feminist-baby murderer crowd, isn’t he?

Obama has single handedly destroyed the Coal Industry, RR company today announced 200 layoffs because they are moving less coal.. the very IDEA that Obama had a prayer in the rust belt was laughable from day one.

You can’t piss in the face of hte blue dogs for 4 years and then think you will carry the rust belt... Not to mention double up the damage by attacking the Catholic church.

Obama never had a prayer in the rust belt.. no rust belt state without a large city will remotely go Obama... He’ll lose them all, and lose them all by solid margin.

Obama never had a prayer at OH,IA,IN,or WI. PA and MI are clearly in PLAY. MN and IL are probably only “safe” states for O.. and if he loses one of those, its not going to be a landslide, its going to be a slaughter.

I am telling you. PA may go Romney. The signs are really coming out this past weekend. And it is easily 15-1 Romney signs in Montgomery County- 5 minutes outside of Philly. Same with Bucks. In fact, I counted more Romney signs than Obama in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia! This is the complete opposite of 2008.

A poll that Romney is not winning is a not reliable. The only polls that are 100 percent accurate are Romney wins only. That seems to be the verdict around here.

I was in the Lehigh Valley for my 25th High School Reunion this past weekend and I saw a ton of Romney/Ryan signs. I only saw TWO Obama signs and as I drove back to Maryland, I did not take the turnpike but went the scenic route through York and Langcaster and other places and Romney/Ryan signs were everywhere. There were a ton of Dent signs, but not too many Smith signs though.

This site lets you look up individual voters’ registration in FL, OH and PA and it also shows you stats like party weighting by district. Might be interesting to see if heavily Dem districts have a lot of Romney signs.

A poll that Romney is not winning is a not reliable....that seems to be the verdict around here.

Thirteen of Ohio's eighteen House seats are currently held by Republics.Does that undeniable, and powerful, fact suggest to you that Rats currently hold a nine point edge over Republicans in the state?

Lehigh Valley, York and Lancaster are more typical Republican areas. It’s the southeast/northeast Philly/Scranton/Wilkes-Barre areas you have to watch out for.

"Romney/Ryan signs and bumper stickers outnumber Obama/Biden by 2 to 1"

There's a couple reasons why Obama stickers are fewer this Election:

Cash for Clunkers was a handout to the inner-city tribal parasites, and their cars are gone (traded for CASH.....from his "stash")

Nowhere to put the yard signs, since they live in Public Housing, having been kicked out of houses they couldn't pay for, but were GIVEN mortgages when the Gubmint forced Lenders to loan to welfare-only/non-qualified buyers.

I live in Ohio too.

We have a lot of the ‘skank vote’ here. I mean there are more and more tattooed, skanky, career baby factories that call themselves ‘single moms’. AS IF they are some kind of victimized group, when in fact they are girls who have consistently made the worst possible choices for themselves in education, child bearing, etc. and have been popping illegitimate babies since HS.

They are VERY proud of the choices they have made and continue to make. They’re getting more and more government freebies.

It is a population that is exploding

If Romney takes Pa, the election will be over as soon as that result is posted, no matter what transpires elsewhere...

Expect a late night - the MSM will refuse to call any battleground state for Romney until they absolutely have to.

Obama is going to get crushed and frankly I think he’s known this for months and planning for it... the entire election is just bread and circuses.

I've thought this since early in the Republican primary. I've been convinced for two years now, that Obama is a one term president. The real race for president has already been won. We're just going through the motions now.

I agree with both of you about Obama knowing he was toast.

Which irritates me to no end about the way we had to settle for Romney. Any of the primary candidates would be cruising to a victory now, but sadly most Republican voters failed to understand that the 2010 off year election was just the beginning.Well, it is what it is, and now we are stuck with Romney.

I do however think that right after the 2010 election, Obama and his cohorts still believed they could still steal the election this year. It was when Obama was losing 15% to 20% of the primary votes that they realized how screwed he really was. Now they have to realize that he is going to get his ass handed to him in such a massive landslide defeat, that there is no way they can cheat their way to another four years.

I will add one thing we better be prepared for though. After Romney trumps Obama, in what I believe will be a historically huge win by the numbers, that the Republican establishment will be trying their damnedest to Lord it over us conservatives. They will claim that Romney's huge win proves that moderates can win big, while using Bush's close races with Gore and the guy who served in Vietnam as proof that conservatives cannot win big.

In the next four years we are going to see a huge in house fight between the moderate liberals of the party and the conservatives. Dare I say it will get ugly enough to possibly tarnish Romney's re-election chances. Re-election in the primary that is, not the presidency in 2016.

This is the way I have been reading the tea leaves as they have been settling for the last 8 Months. Mark my words down, because I promise you that our biggest enemies in the next few years, will be the Republican Establishment.

I guess that's better than fighting Obama and his commie buddies for another four years.

Thanks for being a good sport about it. Personally, I appreciate it when a fellow Freeper corrects me on misspelling or misusage. Helps me to improve my language skills, which I don't mind one bit.

I think we've been reading the same Tea leaves, my friend. The establishment wing of the Republican party does not intend to relinquish their grip on power, and will do everything they can to keep the conservative/Tea wing of the party in line. I believe this is a battle that will go on throughout Romney's (first) term in office, and will likely be one of the biggest political fights in history, as we approach the 2016 primary.

I could go on about my thoughts on this for half a page, but we'll have plenty of time to talk about what Tea-publicans must do over the next couple of years. Right now, we've got to escort Bozo out of office, and it looks like that's exactly what's about to happen.

I'm all for taking the time to finish off that job, then basking in our much deserved relief for a bit before we start up the next fight. Lord knows, it'll come sooner than we want. We'll be ready, though. We always are.
