After Romney trumps Obama, in what I believe will be a historically huge win by the numbers, that the Republican establishment will be trying their damnedest to Lord it over us conservatives. They will claim that Romney's huge win proves that moderates can win big, while using Bush's close races with Gore and the guy who served in Vietnam as proof that conservatives cannot win big.

In the next four years we are going to see a huge in house fight between the moderate liberals of the party and the conservatives.

I think we've been reading the same Tea leaves, my friend. The establishment wing of the Republican party does not intend to relinquish their grip on power, and will do everything they can to keep the conservative/Tea wing of the party in line. I believe this is a battle that will go on throughout Romney's (first) term in office, and will likely be one of the biggest political fights in history, as we approach the 2016 primary.

I could go on about my thoughts on this for half a page, but we'll have plenty of time to talk about what Tea-publicans must do over the next couple of years. Right now, we've got to escort Bozo out of office, and it looks like that's exactly what's about to happen.

I'm all for taking the time to finish off that job, then basking in our much deserved relief for a bit before we start up the next fight. Lord knows, it'll come sooner than we want. We'll be ready, though. We always are.
