My belief is that the Ambassador died by smoke inhalation as was being reported later. I'm not sure the intent was for him to die based on the reported responses of those who supposedly found him and said he was still living shouting praises to Allah. There was something more to this whole thing. The questions at the Congressional hearing about the blind sheik and the lost SAMs leads me to believe there was some deal in the works and the whole thing went wrong.... why they were watching drone video without acting.... I believe the goal may have been to have the ambassador kidnapped and he and SAMs exchanged for the sheik, cash and other weapons. Obama’s October surprise.... There is something much more to this story....
I think so too. Sean Smith was dead within about 20 - 30 minutes from smoke inhalation in the same room. If Stevens lasted the two to three hours before the locals found him he would have been on his last legs for sure. It was actually reported that way right from the start but was overshadowed by the lurid report of sodomy that came from one Libyan paper quoting people on the street. It never had any credibility.
