“I was a paperboy for the Register and Tribune too. Back in the mid 70s for a year or two. I delivered the Tribune. The Register was the morning paper and the Tribune was the evening paper. They put out the paper twice a day.”

When I delived the paper I did both the Register and the Tribune...and of course the Sunday Register. We also had to collect each week from each customer...there were very few ‘office pays’. Still, good days then. And lest I forget, during the week we folded the papers so we could toss them to the front door from the sidewalk...except where a customer had given us special instructions on where to put the paper.

And by the way, I remember the Presidential Campaign of 1948. I saw both Dewey and Truman during that time. And of course we all thought Dewey was going to win. But Truman’s whistlestop tour of the midwest farm states just prior to the election won it for Truman. That ain’t gonna happen this time. The challenger is doin’ it. And here in Ohio we are getting lots of attention...

This is great. I’ve always thought meat Loaf was a tremendously underapreciated singer. I’d say in his prime he had the best rock voice this side of Freddie Mercury.

And a friend of mind was in a national fantasy baseball league. Meat Loaf is really into that. It was a big stakes deal where you paid $1,500 entry fee with a chance for big payoffs. There were three local drafts, one of which was in Vegas where my friend (and Meat Loaf) participated. He said he was a super good-natured and down to earth guy, joking with everyone and that you wouldn’t know he was a celebrity at all by his demeanor. I’ve always like him and am really glad to see he’s supporting the GOP candidate.

I agree. I can't remember when I've seen someone with the deep, penetrating, dark evil stare that this POS often displays. I wonder what the late Malachy Martin would have said about obozo, if Martin had had the opportunity to meet obozo in person. Mr. Martin, a former priest, had the ability to see and feel evil in people he had encountered, whether it had been by introduction, or just walking down a street and passing by people. Mr. Martin wrote a few books and was a frequent guest on Coast to Coast. He was a kind man, and I looked forward to whenever he was on CtoC. He died under suspicious circumstances, and it was felt that he may have put the fear into someone in power, who wished not to be revealed for the evil he was, and so Mr. Martin lost his life.

Those pictures say it all, don’t they? BO looks scared and lost in the crowd. Romney looked buoyant and optimistic and energized by the crowd.

The Register has not endorsed a Republican since Nixon in 1972. This is big.
