Bill O’Reilly opened his show tonight asking if recent events in Libya will lose the election for President Obama. O’Reilly appeared to be losing patience with how Obama keeps dodging questions about what happened in Libya and who told which administration officials what to say. O’Reilly also blamed the media, and Brian Williams in particular, for not actually bringing these issues up in interviews with the president.
O’Reilly brought up a report that said urgent requests for backup in the Benghazi consulate were not followed up on by the CIA. During a radio interview, Obama claimed that he was not “personally aware of” any security requests. O’Reilly sighed and criticized Obama for not being able to explain exactly what happened in Libya. He could not comprehend why the president is still unable to clarify the situation, considering how much misinformation was put out by his administration.
Of course, the media has not been very quick to hold Obama’s feet to the fire on this one. O’Reilly brought up Williams’ interview of the president and how the NBC newsman took a pass on actually grilling Obama on what happened in Libya. After playing the video of Obama talking with Williams about Libya, O’Reilly sighed again and said the president is just regurgitating the same answer about Libya, criticizing Williams for not following up.
“Instead of citing some inconsistencies from the administration about the Libyan attack, Mr. Williams dropped the subject, totally dropped it, after one misleading question… [and] implied that American intelligence stands behind the theory that the Libyan attack was, quote, ‘spontaneous.’ That was not a fact, but was presented as such by Brian Williams.”
O’Reilly reiterated that the media needs to actually grill the Obama administration on what happened in Libya, instead of giving him a pass on a major foreign security issue. He said the most important question any journalist can ask Obama is

Here is what I think happened:
THe WH has connections with the Muslim Brotherhood, the plan was to have 40 Americans taken hostage before the election, Obama would have them released a day or two before the election thereby getting voters to vote them back in office.
The two Navy Seals stopped the plan with their brave actions rescueing over 30 of the people involved and killing as many as 80 terrorists. The terrorists were so mad at the losses they killed Stevens.
This IMHO was the October surprise. People should hang!

When Brian Williams “interviews” Obama he does not have a notebook. He carries toilet paper instead.
I liked it better around FR lately when BOR wasn’t even mentioned (bloviating spinner that he still is).

The first thing Brian Williams did when he learned that he would interview Obama was to put his shorts on backwards!

Now ignoring those facts, the fact is that the media have ignored this totally and all of us need to send mail to thme and demand they mention this and more importantly get in touch with your local media outlets.
I have never in my life seen this much lying and cover up by a white house and a media who have totally lied and covered for obama.

Rescuing 30 and killing 80 is news to me. Any link to that report?
I watched NBC News this evening, feeling certain they would be compelled to cover today’s developments as we learned that CIA operatives on the ground were repeatedly denied permission to go to the Ambassador’s aid. (They eventually went anyway and were killed, if I understand correctly.)

Instead, afer covering the hurricane/blizzard looming toward the eastern seaboard, they featured Chuck Todd frolicking with his monster iPad, swooshing states this way and that across an electoral map. That was followed by a tragic, but strictly local story about a brutal murder of two small children and suicide by a NYC babysitter.
NOTHING about Libya! If nothing else, I’d like to hear:
What was the evidence that compelled Obama, et al, to blame this two-phase military attack, complete with RPG’s, on a spontaenous protest of a bogus video that had been released months previously? Surely we don’t have to wait ‘til after the election for THAT?!
agreed, use your social media utlets, send ut mail, send mail and call the media and demand they tell the truth and cover this.
This is an outrage and non one is calling out obama and Biden.
Thios is worse than watergate and the media destroyed Bush when he played golf but they ignore this, the worst screw up in American history and the lies is stunning.
People need to be fired, held accontable and obama and Biden need to be impeached and screw the many in the black population who ant to riot and call this racism.
People died in this just like the border agent and I want to know was obama watching this live time and if not where was he and why did he if he did say stand down?
