Two videos distill the meaning of a campaign, and a presidency.
“We’re going to have that person arrested and prosecuted that did the video,” said Hillary Clinton. No, not the person who made the video saying that voting for Barack Obama is like losing your virginity to a really cool guy. I’ll get to that in a moment. But Secretary Clinton was talking about the fellow who made the supposedly Islamophobic video that supposedly set off the sacking of the Benghazi consulate. And, indeed, she did “have that person arrested.” By happy coincidence, his bail hearing has been set for three days after the election, by which time he will have served his purpose. These two videos — the Islamophobic one and the Obamosexual one — bookend the remarkable but wholly deserved collapse of the president’s reelection campaign.

The Benghazi coverup just may be breaking at the exact best possible time to sink The Lightbringer.
The entire Food Stamp Administration is corrupt to the core. I seriously doubt that there is a single person in the administration with any character, honor, integrity, honesty, etc. The entire administration reminds me of those creatures that reside on the bottom of the ocean waiting greedily to feed on whale sh!t.
His description of the behavior of Obama and Biden at the funeral for the four heroes:
But the near-parodic locker-room coarseness is grotesque both in its inaptness and in its lack of basic human feeling for a bereaved family forced to grieve in public and as crowd-scene extras to the political bigshot. Just about the only formal responsibility a vice president has is to attend funerals without embarrassing his country. And this preening buffoon of pseudo-blue-collar faux-machismo couldnt even manage that.
Øbama should be tried and found guilty of TREASON and receive the Constitutionally prescribed punishment.
Put some ice on that Barry. I wonder if the one even knew what was going on or did Valerie Jarrett tuck him in saying “Don’t worry I got This”
“The Benghazi coverup just may be breaking at the exact best possible time to sink The Lightbringer.”
Just personally, of course, I never underestimate the power of a novena; and there is a massive one going on right now.
My late father’s generation would already be on the DC mall and White House lawn with pitchforks, tar & feathers and assorted other equipment, if you get my drift...
I could not agree more! The time has come to remove the narcissist in chief!

I am not so sure of that. They elected Roosvelt four times.
It is not so much the temper of the people, it is what they know, and what they know that is not so.
A great number of people in the U.S.A. Know a lot that is not so.
Steyn eviscerates!
He’s a big picture guy who can tie it all together and turn a phrase like no one else!

It makes me unhappy knowing that such rotten people exist.
It was Roosevelt or communism/fascism, in many minds. Many thought that “capitalism” had failed them. They were wrong, of course, but at least they didn’t go the way of Stalin or Hitler.
Under similar circumstances, if I had a child in a casket, and Joe Biden asked Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls? I would have been wrestled to the ground by the Secret Service, after trying to beat the s#!t out of Biden, and been carted off to federal prison.
The current so-called leaders of the USA are even worse than Caligula ever was for Rome. They make me sick, and they besmirch the memory of every American who shed their blood and lives for this country.

Obama concerning the elimination of Al Qaeda as a threat: Mission accomplished.
The media laughed at Bush. They aren’t laughing now.

This is the perfect storm. Romney is covering the economy and letting the details leak to the press without any comment. If pressed, he can simply refer to the harsh words he stated at the beginning and look prophetic. Folks, if this blows up to epic proportions, we might win CA.
Same here.
If able to check my anger, I’d have asked “Did you always have a brain the size of a BB?”
From the beginning the MSM framed Romney as the emcumbant and let Obama play the part off the clever pragmatist. This what happens when a community activist becomes a rebel without a cause. Now, Romney has embraced the image he was framed with, he owns it. And, Obama appears desperate and even flailing.
No they didn’t. But they did elect an administration with a ton of commies, including at least one that worked in the FDR inner circle. Read, The Haunted Wood for starters.
Ping!
“There’s a broader lesson to be learned here,” Mr. Obama told “60 Minutes” correspondent Steve Kroft at the White House. “And I — you know, Governor Romney seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later. And as president, one of the things I’ve learned is you can’t do that. That, you know, it’s important for you to make sure that the statements that you make are backed up by the facts. And that you’ve thought through the ramifications before you make ‘em.”
Obama has always and only cared about Obama. This is just the most deadly result to date.
Oh, from your keys to God's ears. That would be icing.
If you welcome mutts, you shouldn’t whine when the fleas come along for free. Welcome a politician to a funeral, and grin through it as he lifts his leg and urinated on your beloved.
Actually, Fast and Furious has killed (and still kills) lots more people, but I get where you're coming from.
It’s true, though: if you’re going to lose your virginity, you’ll want to do it with a big prick. And on that score, Obama is your man.
Like his kneejerk reaction to the Massachusetts police/Harvard professor dustup?
Maybe he would have already learned that lesson if Barack Obama had had an ounce of experience before taking office.
Mark Steyn is a master wordsmith, and one of the most perceptive foreign observers of the American scene since Alexis de Tocqueville.
Maybe he would have already learned that lesson if Barack Obama had had an ounce of experience before taking office.
Someone like 0bama would have been even more dangerous had he had some experience.
0bama is calculating and a manipulator.
Everything is a means to an end. Friends.co-workers, and even family do not matter as much as his own power.
All 0bama cares about is himself.
I’m surprised no one has analyzed Biden’s near-pathic need to portray himself as a tough guy. He is always shooting his mouth off about how tough a ‘fighter’ he is. He’s a wimp who’s lived inside the padded glove of government jobs his entire life.
If I’d been the father of the soldier slain in Libya and the VP had said that to me, I’d be in jail for decking him. It’s not a football game and a daring play they were discussing. It was the slaughter of soldier who’d been hung out to dry by the administration of the guy making the coarse comment.
Throw a hard hat and sleeveless shirt on him and he’d fit right in with the aging Village People.
Repeat: Devastating
Why was this changed to an excerpt?
The article was posted from NRO, which AFAIK does not have a policy requiring such.
So many good pull quotes I don’t know where to begin.
Thanks for posting.
Not to rain on your hope and dreams....that is as likely to happen as the moon spinning off it's orbit into outer space...

You are my favorite author, when are you going to come out with something new? Don’t use that old excuse about rumors of your death NOT being exaggerated this time, if dead people can vote they can certainly write books.
You are spot on about this,”A great number of people in the U.S.A. Know a lot that is not so.” It is even worse though, a great many Americans know a lot of things that could not even POSSIBLY be so. It is one thing to take fiction seriously but Americans are now taking fantasy seriously. I suspect I have done so on occasions myself but I am trying with all due diligence to never do so again.

I would think so too, except that one poll showed Obama at 53% in CA. That means a 10-15% drop in Dem turnout with conservative districts voting strongly for Romney might inch it out. The polls are not talking about turnout because that is going to be Obama’s Achilles Heel.
Actually, no. Stevens was running guns, ManPADS, and other light infantry weapons from Libya, through Turkey, and into Syria, where a LOT more people have died than in Fast & Furious.
That's the big story here, because not only was Zero trying to keep the meme alive that "Al Quaida is dead; Libya is progressing toward being a normal country," he was trying to keep the news from coming out that he is quite deliberately keeping AQ alive and kicking, as they surround Israel with jihadis armed to the teeth with American weapons.
Voting for this rat the first time can perhaps be forgiven by foolishness and being caught up in the passing immature and blind passions of the moment. Voting for him the second time can be forgiven by nothing.
If four years of hands on observation hasn't demonstrated that awful mistake to his dullard followers, nothing can. These can only be described as people who either will blindly march into the gulags or happily march others into them.
Frankly, I really, really want a permanent divorce from these scum sucking idiots.
Arming rebels fighting Assad, who is Iran’s closest ally, is a defensible policy, regardless of who those rebels are.
We are the people, after all, who allied ourselves with the USSR to fight a greater evil.
Not saying it’s the right policy, just that there are legitimate arguments for it.
I just get more nauseated and horrified every day.
Until one learns who the rebels are.
Not saying its the right policy, just that there are legitimate arguments for it.
Understood, until the second question is asked.
Me too.

If it were nothing but Stalin v Hitler with no other countries involved, and we joined Stalin in the fight then your WW2 analogy might make sense but that is nowhere near the case.
But, this is Stalin v Hitler with no other nations involved. Stand back, let them duke it out with hopefully significant reduction in forces on both sides, then let the dust settle and do our best with what's left.

We are the people who were manipulated by Stalin's moles to provoke Japan into attacking us instead of the USSR, which would have made more sense for Japan at the time, and might have saved the world 50 years of communism.
Our alliance with Stalin benefited only him (and eventually, Mao.) All by design, and not at all that of American patriots.
