Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer said tonight that his sources tell him that Obama was one of the people in the room watching the Benghazi attack go down and both he and Col. David Hunt agree it would have taken an order by the president to intervene.
Further, Col. Hunt said that we were only 20 min away by jet and a couple of hours away by AC-130 gunships and special forces, and the decision not to intervene had to be political.

We know at 5 pm Obama in the White House met with Pinetta. We know no authorization for intervention was given.
But look closer at what Obama said. Men in harms way and you... Investigate? Just go kill the guys trying to murder Americans.

That's the story -- Jarrett kept vetoing it and Obama kept vacillating. Finally, as I recall it, Panetta and Hillary gave the go ahead. We don't know for sure, though.

Only thing is, it seems like they were developing their cover story even before the attack happened. And they were making sure there was no security there in Benghazi, for months before this attack - even though a 40-foot hole had been blown in the wall of the embassy and Stevens was requesting more and more security. The story is that Bill and Hillary have been arguing about whether to leak the proof that she had asked for additional security and Obama himself had vetoed it; Hillary doesn’t want to be blamed for Obama losing the election and Bill wants her to expose the truth. There was too much stuff going on IN ADVANCE. It looks too coordinated.
As somebody else pointed out, when Hillary immediately responded by saying that the US government had nothing to do with the making of that film, that was a “tell”. Nobody would have thought the US government had made the film, and for them to immediately deny it tells us they felt a need to deflect on the issue of who created that film and why.
It’s pretty sad when the president of the United States reminds you of the fictional DoD in the horror film Apollo 18. Someone wouldn’t leave you alone to die in some unknown land, unless his concerns about re-election dwarf that for other, fellow Americans, which is what happened in the Obama administration.

Sorry, the picture you are referring that is posted in #6 was taken in the Situation Room when they were watching the attack on the house where bin Laden was living. It has been posted many times this past year. It is not a recent picture of them watching the attacks in Benghazi.
Think about it.......he could have had a BinLaden rerun. 130s, Seals, Delta! Massive rescue mission, saving the lives of Americans, We would have been watching footage on every station, 24/7 right up to November 6th. Just one word....GO! He opted out, why?

Great point.......there is no way, if his order was securing the safety of the personnel WHO WERE OBVIOUSLY STILL ALIVE, that he would immediately want an investigation of what happened BECAUSE IT WAS STILL HAPPENING and bring those to justice who DID THIS.....did what it was not concluded. This is a statement made in the past tense.

True, but even after he loses the election, Benghazigate will continue to grow as a scandal, which he will not have the power to escape. He's chained to that White House until January next year. Plenty long enough for the entire world to become aware of his historic treason.
By the time Mitt Romney is sworn in, even Democrats are going to be sobbing with relief that it's finally over.

So--to my mind--that is proof Obama HEARD the requests--in real time. And, since we KNOW he did not GRANT or GIVE APPROVAL for the requests to send help, it means he did one thing--which is NOTHING!

Actually, I think it would be fitting to see him water boarded first.
The idea is to go public, and that person will need to be bullet proof from repercussions, which means s/he will need a US Rep or Senator with clout to see that his pension is not revoked, nor any promotions stalled.
Also, I can't thinkof a serious reporter of good character, other than Bret Baier and Jennifer Griffin, and perhaps Laura Logan, the woman who was sexually assaulted in Cairo and has been speaking out ever since.
