Divide and conquer is the name of the game, and the bottom feeders in this country are all for it, as long as the perpetrators keep promising them free stuff. Where did you think obama was going to raise his army? It was ready made in the entitlement class, along with their ideological communist liberal enablers. The bolsheviks could overthrow russia, what makes you think it couldn't happen here? This time around is going to be much worse than the civil war, because this time it's not about secession, it's for complete control of everything, and the enemy has backing from people and regimes outside of this country on their side.

We don’t need a nation of tribes. We have a republic of states, and that will do just fine if the’ll just stop screwing with it and let it work the way it was designed.

Oh ABC......talking about peace as they come to the realization that the Democrats have played them like cheap harmonicas. Hey! ABC! Your team the Democrats have been caught red handed in a coverup worse than Watergate and an operation in Benghazi that makes Iran Contra look like a lemonade stand. Your team is in the crap up to their necks and now you want mercy for them? Yeah, we’ll show them the same mercy they showed Scooter Libby! Jail time is coming ABC! You can start a new reality show DEMOCRATS DOING TIME. That would be the first show on your network that I’ve watched in years.

If I was Obama and Hillary, I’d be high-tailing it to an embassy asking for asylum!

There is no divide.

This is how it works: Liberals demand the moon, scream obstruction when they get a spaceship. Conservatives simply say ‘hold on’ and then give over the keys.

What we have is an utter disconnect between reality and the political machine of Washington, the several states, and the media. None of them base anything on even the most vague sense of reality. Budget deficits of over 10% of the GDP? Oh, let's argue over funding for Planned Parenthood, a budget checkmark that might equal the coffee budget for the Pentagon.

Should we fund Planned Parenthood? No. Should we pay for coffee at the Pentagon? Hell no. Nothing is going to stop this gravy train so long as we focus on very narrow issues. We stop while bailing out the fiscal flood to argue over if an espresso cup's worth of water should be discarded, while the water rises yet another inch.

Simply put, we need to end the gravy train. No provided benefits for any government employee. You have a paycheck (and here, have a significant raise..,) you can buy whatever health care or retirement or whatever that you desire. We aren't doing it anymore. You want a vacation day? Pay for it. You want a sick day? Pay for it. At the end of each fiscal year, there needs to be a big fat zero in the ‘money owed’ column, especially for employees.

Can this legally be done? Absolutely. Is there political will to see it done? Absolutely not - why pick a fight with nearly 10% of the work force? 20% if you count contractors and those who earn more than half their income from government work.

We long ago ran out of other people's money. We've burned through the money from future generations, and we're now into fantasy land. Time for us to close the fairy tale book, take a moment of rest, and then open our eyes, get up, and get to work ending this wholesale looting of the public treasury.

There is the real revolution. Everything else up until that point is sideline distraction as people ignore the elephant in the room. Will it happen? It HAS to happen. The only question is how far down the rabbit hole we get before we find the strength of will to realize what a dung hole we've dived into.

All these various demographic "divides" that Dowd speaks of boil down to a single cultural divide:

Poorly educated low income minorities and their over-educated, upper class white political overseers vs the rest of us.

Moreover, there is a singular objective driving all these "divides"

In search of a socialist utopia, one side seeks to destroy the political and economic structure of the most successful nation in history; the other seeks to maintain it.

Given those stakes, how can there possibly be any compromise?

This is not a situation where one side wants a 10% tax, the other 20% -- and you can meet in the middle at 15%. In this case, one side wants to assume total power over the individual and the other wants to retain personal liberty and economic freedom. Settle for half? Hardly.

Sorry, Mr. Dowd. These "divides" will have to remain in place, even become more polarized, until one side wins...and the other loses. No amount of hand-wringing or bedwetting will "moderate" our differences.

Yeah. In 2008, it was the end of Conservatism, we won, screw you.

In 2012, they are already starting with how the winner needs to reach out to the loser, and respect his position, and compromise with him.

Looks like we’re not the only one’s thinking Gallup isn’t an outlier.

Bingo!

Dhimmicrats only seek civility and compromise when they are in the weaker position. Just like muzzies.

Ever notice how all of Satan’s spawn have a similar game plan an similar hates?

They pooped in the well. They pushed our faces under the water and told us that we had to drink and shut the h up. They sneered at us and told us, “elections have consequences.” They mocked anyone who had traditional ideas and goals/convictions. They mocked the citizens of this great country who disagreed with the administration’s plan. They did absolutely nothing to bring this country to a place of togetherness.

LOL! They know what is coming. They want out in front of the storm protecting this administration. Peace, republicans need to rule with "compassion" not look racist with witch hunts.

BS, this is the last chance to save this nation from the dem party because if they ever gain power again there is no rule of law for them. If republicans do not make a huge example of this administration and go after every crime and put people in prison the next time the only way to save this country will be through arms because the dem party has become so corrupt they will not let go of power again.

The very same forces that have never compromised when they could refuse to and get away with it - everyone who has been part of the Marxist/Progressive/Liberal agenda - are the same forces who have created all the divisiveness in the nation, as part of their divide and conquer strategy

and as usual, and as they always do

when they are about to lose some measure of control

they want to “make peace”.

GOP, if you [AGAIN] do not make sure the Democrats reap the consequences they have sown for themselves with Obama and his entire agenda, you will lose the winning majority you are building today as quickly as you have gained it.

That is why I have been saying to the Conservative base; what is now important is not simply that Romney win, but even more importantly that that win be accompanied by even more (more than Romney) real Conservative gains in Congress, not just GOP gains but Conservative GOP gains.

The new Congress must remember, Presdients can “propose” but Congress must “dispose”.

Off this topic but wanted it public because it is important:

I believe this election gave more credit to your r/K theory.
As when Roosevelt helped screw up the economy more then it already was they rallied around the r-type leader. Meaning they are actually afraid of us. I honestly didn't believe we had that many r-types or those that are taking more then they give but I was wrong.

Until a major economic collapse I don't see a change coming anytime soon. As long as people are fed, clothed with a roof over their heads r-type's will thrive and we will be feared. Their fear in real bad times will lead to hysteria in the sense they will do as the Nazi's did too those they feared.

Thanks again. Your concepts does help understand why we are in this position
